I think I managed to stay up until the hour started with a 9...
So glad I bought those balm tissues as my right sinus is in overdrive.
Today I won't go and see mum. Don't want to take germs into a vulnerable environment - both the residents and the staff. So once I am fed and fit to be seen in public, off I go back home.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I managed all the walking and travelling and was home by 1pm. I then spent the next 2 hours snoozing on the sofa before going to meet dd from sch. She was thrilled to see me and amost knocked me off my feet!
Dh has sorted out the tax repayment for me and has said I can do what I like with it. I have my list ready...
Hoping for a good night's kip and already planning a good soak in the tub, hairwash and thorough moisture tomorrow morning,NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Karma - when I was went into the home on Thurs, there was a notice right by the bell about please don't bring your bugs here. So, no way was I going to turn up sneezing and with a drippy nose!
Today has been super lazy, and much needed.
2 loads of laundry done - and somewhere found to hang them.
1x shoulder exercises + 100 reps done during advert breaks.
1 hot bath, hairwash, defuzz and moisturise.
1x 'vicks' equivalent put on the soles of my feet overnight - wearing socks, of course - to see if it helps.
1 viewing of The Greatest Showman completed. Rather late to the party, but we all enjoyed it.
Still trying to spend my 228 rebate... My asda basket has 32.50 in it... Mostly needs. But I do have a few other wants, of course...! Tomorrow I need to sign up to an account with them and get it bought.
Probably not going to church tomorrow. I have a y9 parents eve on Mon, and really need to be fit for that.
Am enjoying reading frugaldom's 2008 challenge to live off £4000. Am on page 12 of 137, so quite a way to go yet...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

So I have already spent nearly £100 this morning. Gulp. This is not normal behaviour for me.
60 on a totally reflective running/cycling jacket from w1ggle. Dh found me a 10 off code and delivery was free. On my way to work I saw a lad doing his paper round on a bike, wearing one of these and thought how brilliant an idea it was.
39 at azda (thanks greent - but I had already ordered before I saw your message, and I'd had enough probs with their site, I just wanted to order!) for 7 items: bikini top + bottoms (as mine are getting rather indecent!), nix (rather holey), sports bra + ls sports top + ss sports top that I can wear to work if I ever do run home from there, and a vest for mum.
Feeling much better today until I try to go up the stairs! Then I become breathless and my legs turn to jelly. Hence another day at home, quietly pottering about. With dd. Who opted to stay with me.
Got myself another £5 from swagbux yesterday. Not in one day, mind :rotfl:. But it still feels good!
Off out for a little walk - with dd on her bike.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

No chance of me doing anything speedy at the mo, greent! I had to pause twice going up the hill...
Looked into renewing our 3-yr railcard and discovered £18.50 of unused and out of date tesc0 vouchers. Sigh. So we used current vouchers and then - once we had redeemed them - realised they were only redeemable against a one year railcard. Double sigh. So dh has put in a claim to try to get them back... And we do not yet have the railcard... I only need it for half term as I fall in between the ages where you can get a card all to yourself, so a little while to sort it out yet...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Just had the yummiest tea everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Chucked onion, tin of toms, sprinkle of dried garlic and 6 chicken drums in the slow cooker about 2 days ago and it was just about ready for today's tea! It had been cooking for so long that the bones were beginning to disintegrate and were scrummy to chew on. And there's one portion for another day. Yum.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
