Dropped dd off for her drama day and went and got some gf/df stuff from sainz, milk for dh from icyland and flowers from aldee for the posh sch lady who has done so much to help us.

A warm up and 300 of the 500 rep workout done. Dh checked his NI contributions and has paid more than 35 years. So we also checked mine. It says I need another 5 years, but has also credited me with 3 years when I was still at school!! So I may need 8 more...

2 loads of laundry done, including the lounge nets. It feels very exposed without them up! But they were awful, having soaked up a lot of condensation over the last few months. Best go and clean the window edges - they go down tothe floor -and floor edging before a friend come round in 16 mins. Nowt like a deadline!

Dh has just said that he will pull together an 'If I die' pack. :rotfl:So that we know what monies are where, if they continue when the recipient dies, what our pensions will be and who will get the pension - or how much of it, if any - on death of the recipient.

Sounds a bit morbid, but I want to know this stuff. It's been nagging at me for a while, and karma's 'net worth' working out has prompted me to actually do something. Thank you karma! :D

Dd is having her entrance test at the posh school now. She went out for 5 mins on her bike before we left to get the bus :D. It was odd to be up, fed, dressed and have dropped her off and got back home by 9.10 this morning. It is definitely odd not having her around!

I have done 1 load of laundry, ironed the nets and put them back up with dh's help, made dd's bday cake (currently cooling). Dh has put Christmas back in the loft.

I have also subscribed to a 5 issues for £5 offer for Mollie Makes. I did think about it overnight and it is a fantastic price - as cheap as buying a second-hand issue in a ch shop, but it comes pristine with all its innards. And I've put the date in my calendar for cancelling the direct debit already.:T

We were given 2 bags of clothes for dd by 2 different people yesterday - makes us feel very loved :D. The first bag was mostly tops and dd liked none of them. The second bag had a lot of crop tops (dd can't stand them - they're draughty!) and plenty of bottoms - soooo many of what we call knicker shorts, as they're that short! and high waisted trousers that come up to dd's armpits! But also plenty that she does like.

We'll let her friend look through them all tomorrow, so hopefully a few more can be given away before the rest go to the ch shop.

No more tests now greent. Phew. And thank you for dd's bday wishes - it shall indeed be a gf/df glorious day!

And dd was up only 20mins later than I would usually wake her this morning. She has already opened her presents and they are all strewn over our bed. She has her nose in one of the books!

Dd has had a brilliant day. She got to custard pie someone at kids klub, had a friend round for several hours, spent some time climbing trees, scoffed her cake and thoroughly enjoyed her presents. Her half-sibs have each given her £10 so she is chuffed to have money to spend on her dolls house.

Next week should be a more 'normal' week, which I think we will all appreciate. It only has a few extra things in it...

Still got plenty of frogs to swallow this month...
