I woke up at 6.10 (why oh why??!), so got up and did a 10 week plan that ended up being 9 weeks when I looked more closely at the dates...
Then I did zcut #4 with a mix of 8 and 12k KB. I mulled over getting the other 8 done before the end of the month, ie in the next 12 days. But once I looked at when we are travelling /camping /seeing mum, it became clear that there just aint enough time. Maybe I could do it by the end of half term...
The sun is shining again. I'm due a work call (step dd hasn't called yet) then I can do some work. Interrupted by a 2 hr webinar, pesky training! Meanwhile, dh will take dd to dance via Ha1f0rds to get a mallet and tent pegs - can't ever have too many pegs, eh?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
The weekend seems to have gone on for aaages. In a good way. Today I was up just aftrr 6 and only sat down at 1.30. But it was all good stuff.
Marking, getting dd up, taking dd to dance, shopping, zcut #5, collecting dd, showering, feeding us both, taking dd to a scout-centre party (where I stopped and sat down for a bit), bonfire, home, bathe dd, feed dh (he's back to mad manic panic) and relax.
Now to think about the week ahead, and how to fit in my marking... and my kettlebell workouts too.

Sounds like an eventful but fun weekend! Bonfire sounds particularly nice0

I took my rucksack to the bonfire. I also use it for work, so every time I got something out of it or picked it up, I got a waft of bonfire!
A peaceful day at work and I was allowed out early to get dd, as dh couldn't get home in time.
Marking stands at 5/300. At least I have started...
Dh leaves tomorrow to set up the site for the camping weekend. Fitting in the marking will be tricky, especially as I'll miss 4 days with camping and possibly another 2 to visit mum. Eek. Therefore I absolutely must get as much done this week as I can. Watch this space....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Up at 5.55 as dh was so restless. More marking. Up to 24/311 now. Along with school runs, counselling, walking, PO, zcut #6, shower, lunch, dh coming and going, sch pick up, tea, brownies drop off and pick up, washing up, packed lunch making.
And an NSD to boot. Not bad.
Planning an early night and an early start...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I got my early start. Yawn! Tomorrow I'll get up early to do a workout. And then try to squeeze marking in to a busy day. Haven't got numbers completed with me at the mo, so will update tomorrow. Must remember to write sch reports!
We have sold mum's house - sstc, of course. Eek. So I must call the solicitor we want to use tomorrow. Have told big sis as we now need to focus on clearing it...

What a thunderstorm we had in the night. Accompanied by a veritable downpour. I am extremely grateful that the container in the loft collected the incoming rain and hasn't (yet) overflowed. One of my jobs fortomorrow is to clamber into the eaves and extract it and empty it. Usually it is dh's task, but he's away and I don't want to risk it overflowing and giving the ceiling and my wardrobe another soaking.
The solicitors were very nice and helpful, so I know what to do next. Am going up next week, along with dd and big sis, so we'll start to do some serious claiming of items / serious 'why on earth have we kept that?'. And will get a charity booked in to see what they want once we've checked the fire labels. It's quite exciting, but rather daunting.
Got up early to do a workout before my brain could object. I am proud to say that I was able to do all the windmills and all the overhead squats. Go me!
Plenty of marking done. Plenty more still to do... 26 days to do it all in...Some people work out how much they have to spend each day; I'll be working out how much marking I need to do each day. There are 7 'unavailable' days. So I need to do approx 15 per day, but I loathe working right up to a deadline, so I'm definitely aiming for more per day... Enough wittering!

Marking just takes over doesn't it!! You sound so busy and motivated, well done! Good news on your mums house, although there will be things that are difficult to get sorted, im sure you'll manage with your usual aplomb. Marking motivational mojo keeps walking off! Pesky thing... Up to 73/311 methinks. Surely I'm not at 23.47266881% already????? Ah well, I'm stopping for now, until Tues at the earliest.
How can 2 people need so much gubbins for just 3 nights camping? And we're not even cooking for ourselves (although I am taking a bagful of dried non-perishable non-affected-by-heat foodstuffs for dd). I think it is because when we went 2 years ago, we were so, so cold that we have a gazillion layers to wear this time. If it should be warm, then we will simply wear the same clothes every day and come home rather smelly! The forecast is currently dry and warmish in the day...
ZCUT #8 got done today. I am rather looking forward to a break from them! I am hoping to do plenty of walking about on the campsite - no big plans to go out and about too much at all. It'll also be nice to see dh again!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I have just twigged that we will indeed be able to pay off our mortgage this year! Though we may not pay it all off, depends on ERC, make keep a token £10 in there until the end date. I think Tilly has done that?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
