Zcut kettlebell #5 or 6 done today. Again, mixing up the 8 and 12 K kettlebells.
Made a couple more elephants and put lavender sachets inside them - they smell so good that I have opened up the other 11 elephant bellies to do the same!
My hands ache. Generally and specifically in my pinkies and thumbs and the heels of my hands. And in my toes. It could be that I've been rather erratic this week in taking a certain tablet; or that I've done too much cutting out and hand-sewing; or that I've had too much caffeine in the form of decaf coffee and 85% chocolate. To see if I can improve things, I'm swearing off coffee and chocolate for a week. Sigh. And I'll also make sure that I take the tablet and do less sewing (though there are still 10 nellies with opened-up bellies...)NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Well, the days at work and not at work got done, of course. And the trip to Manchester. And the kb workouts, counselling, kk, dr, dd's eye appt, parents eve, reading, crafting.
Only 1 visit to mum, minimal headspace and gardening. No painting. A little clearing,no selling, a little cleaning.
Quite a mixed bag. I started the month full of energy - and 2 weeks of holiday ahead of me - but stalled when gumt was darned awkward, as was my local fb selling page. So I gave up! Whoops.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

If anything,my hands are worse today. Sigh. It's not been a day of lots of marking, as the pupils are all preparing their speaking tests, so not made worse by that.
It could be the change in the weather... The chilliness and wetness. I have taken up hand art: drawing on my hands where they hurt. By using a different colour each day, I get to see the worst areas ornew areas - as well as get the full experience from them!
Must get my act together and make some bone broth mix. It might help... Or at least it might help my knee issue(much much improved these last 10 days - phew) Need some bones first though...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Bought chicken drumsticks, so I'll soon be making my broth!
Got almost to the school door with dd this morning and she burst into tears - she had forgotten the box her group needed. So I left her and ran home, parcel-taped up a box, removed the address label and ran back to the sch. Ooph. At least I can sort-of-run, tho I think my knee will pay me back all day.
So, all sweaty and flushed, I have had a few mins on here and shall head off to work. Speaking tests today. Will be a relief when it is all done.
I am thinking about taking the bus to work tomorrow - I could do with visiting the £ emporium and the street market will be on and I can stop off for a quick look in some ch shops on the way home. All without having to consider where to park. Or I could drive as then I can get more f+v if its worth it, and I can deffo park for free before work and the ch shops will be there another day. Not really a big deal but if I don't make a decision, I'll use up a lot of brain space dithering...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hope the speaking tests go well. We've had technical issues (poor sound on recording) with some of ours (well, the teachers have - I'm just invigilating the prep beforehand) and some other hassles and it's all just been meh! Makes for long days......

Thanks greent. The tests went well and the pupils did themselves proud. I do have to do another one next week for a pupil who had a clash with another subject, but the technical side all worked fine. Phew.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

I have sorted out my dithering - I shall take the car.
But I must remember to then go on to work, as it already feels like the weekend is here! Oops.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
This getting up at 6.20 and waking dd at 6.50 but then not puttingon the telly but reading instead malarkey is really rather efficient! I have got bits and bobs of sewing, cleaning, hoovering done and we are still all ready to go at 8.30. Go us. (prob helps that dh is up and out by 6.30 so we can do our own thing...)
Hands are worsening. Grrr. Getting all feeble and hurty now. And urging my elbows to join in. Toes too. Sigh. So the short amount of time spent on housey jobs is perfect as I cannot do much at all.
Aiming to keep off added sugar today...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
