I have a snow day:j.
Stooopidly pleased about it!
Will now be able to do the first zcut cardio workout. And get to aldee as I want to buy a gazillion pain au choc and niceish biscuits for our open morn at the weekend. Not going to overbuy just in case it gets cancelled - though that is extremely doubtful for many reasons....NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
ZCUT cardio 1 done. I was a huffing puffing mess afterwards!
Aldee shop done. Sainz too as we were getting low on a few gf df things. Then I put money on my oyster. and pouf!! I have spent £70-£80. Yikes!
Now to keep warm for the rest of the day...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

My sch is ooen, but I don't work on a fri, so effectively have another day off.:D
Yesterday's workout has wrecked my knee again. Sigh. It was a zcut cardio one, so I looked at some zcut kettlebell ones - they are static and hopefully worth a try...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Do you need to do something non weight bearing?0

It seems to be the leaping around that is the prob, not using weights. However, my weight is an issue and I need to Tilly Tidy my gluttonous tendencies!
I have done zcut kettlebell #1 and survived...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I'm struggling with my back and exercising. I also want to lose a bit more weight. Im going to try to do more stretching throughout the day, like a mini yoga routine really. Hoping it'll make me more flexible for when I do my cardio and toning. Fingers crossed your knee recovers quickly and well x15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

I have my morning stretches that take 5-10 mins and I do them whilst the coffee is brewing. Some days, dh makes the coffee and I forget to stretch - by midday I'm wondering why I feel all scrunched up!
Off to work tomorrow - we have an open morning (until 1pm, bah!) that has to happen. Currently, I reckon I'll need to leave the house at 7.15, to aim to get there by 8.30 and run round like a blue bottomed fly to get sorted for 9. And be in a fit state to converse professionally with parents! My level of manicness depends on who else makes it in but am working on the worst-case-scenario where I have to do everything myself. So, up at 6.30. Bleurgh.
I watched a recording of 100 best walks today whilst sewing up minions and sticking eyes on them. It was a beautiful programme - not a hint of foul weather, fog, rain or wind! It was interesting to go, 'I've been there' for quite a few of them, and inspiring to try for a few more. Can't believe Snowdon only came 2nd!
Have had to log in to faceache again. Sigh. After 18 happy months out of the loop. Sigh. But both the brownies group and dance group are communicating via it, so I have to be on it. Sigh.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Eek.... can you do work on your core / leg muscles? Might help to take some of the pressure off your knee? Swimming is wonderful for knees.
Good luck with the open day!0 -
The open morning was a lightweight one - not too many families ventured out in the grotty weather, but those that did were all lovely.
Then I met up with dd and dh and we ate in p1zza xprss. We had £40 of tosco vouchers to use up, so it was pretty cheap.
I woke in the night feeling super thirsty and my tum was not happy. I've woken up still very thirsty and my sinuses are aching. Not had that for years! I reckon that far too much doughy food yesterday is the cause - and hardly any veg at all.
Dh has gone to ch to do PA; dd has opted for a staying home day. I shall do zcut kettlebell workout #3 and eat a ton of vegtables...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
