Week 8/12

(Not sure if I did a week 7 one...)

Health: hands currently aching - either due to a decaff coffee, or doing some knitting using metal needles, or carrying heavyish bags home; no running due to exam bundles needing transporting from work to home, but 5x exercise/workouts; still eating too much rubbish food as well as all the good stuff. Basically, eating too much! Headspace done. Quiet times had. Reading going well - boy do I miss it when I run out of books - am always glad to get to the ch shop where they are usually 10p. Counselling good.

Wealth: 4 nsds and not much spent on the other days; bargainaceous sewing machine acquired for dd - she paid £10, I paid just £5. The DT technician at work has said he'll have a go at stripping it down and cleaning it up for me. Yay! Only issue is getting it there, as it is darned heavy!!!

Life well lived: now a grandma! Very proud of step dd! Am relieved that dh sorted something out that really made him cross, and I thought it might be my fault but it turns out it was something that he hadn't done, so nothing to do with me. Phew. Am back in touch with a very good friend via mini messages on wotsap. Am pressing on with the marking as I would love to finish all marking and moderating by half term... That may be putting too much pressure on myself, esp with the moderating if they turn out to be pesky tricky problem centres, but I can try...

11 days involve me being at work. Have done 6 so far, so over halfway
20 days involve me not being at work .
6 working days until y11 leave. They are gone.
Moderation target of 90% Tricky one as until I start a centre, I don't know if I'm doing 6, 10 or 15 of them. So far, 2 centres are completely done and were straightforward; another was decidedly pesky and has gone to be looked at by my leader; another was tricky but ok. When they are not straightforward, the sheer amount of time spent on admin is unbeleeeeeevable.
Marking target of 100%. Easier to count than the moderation. 300 'scripts' to mark, each 'script'being 2 essays written in foreign(or a version thereof), so 600. Think I am around 75/300 so far.
Bunny target of 15. 0 so far. No time or table space!
Exercise target of 15. Up to 11. Going well.
NSD target of 16. 10 so far. Happy.
2 trips to bham: 1 short and 1 several days. Short one done, longer one due at half term.
1 ruby wedding bash to attend. Done. Fun had. But bus shenanigans in the dark are not fun!
1 dentist appointment to keep. Done. Clear.
3 counselling appointments. 1 down, 2 to go.
1 governor meeting. Tomorrow.
1 grandson due Yay! :j

So far, so good.

And good luck for Getting finished. When is your deadline? I sometimes think that I'm finished, then realise that I have to send scripts here, there and everywhere. And do more admin...Dh just keeps out of my way!

I am not sure. Batch 1 is 22nd May.

I get an A every year for moderation and the lowest grade for my admin!!

Every year I seem to get problem centres that need to be referrred up to the Head of all the moderating!!!! I am a pesky centre magnet, me!
