Sounds great apple. I too have been poor with eating a few of the wrong things. Easter eggs, be gone!
Hope the marking/ moderating goes well.15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Thank you earthgirl!
A lovely day at work The head observed my bouncy y9s who were somewhat subdued today, but she liked it and said some lovely things about them.
No tuesday run home, as I had to bring a big bag of stuff. And I got to 18k steps anyway, so not too shabby.
Dropped into a ch shop when I changed buses as I had 5 mins to wait. Found a book that is on dd's reading challenge for 20p and because I only had £10 on me, the lady told me to pay next time I was there, as she knows I'm a regular. How kind! And it netted me another nsd. Result.
Managed to re-mark the scripts I need to send to my leader and legged it to the PO to get a proof of postage before collecting dd.
Tomorrow is busy until about 12.30 (sch run, counselling, dentist) but then I have a quiet stretch until 4pm so have allocated that to getting started on the moderating. If I am awake at 6am, yawn, I may just get up and get it ready to start, yawn, as the set-up and admin is rather time-consuming...
Did a Zuzana 5 minute mini workout today. It took me 9m55 to do it!!!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I did consider getting up at 5.40am, as dh was very fidgetty, but gave it another go, and dozed until 6.45. Much better! And if I wake at 6 tomorrow, I'll get up. Promise.
The counselling session was worthwhile, again. And I managed to coincide buses with dh on the way home. He'd travelled with me and gone on further to the big tesc0 to look at their gf offers. I'd not expected to get the same bus back as him as it involved me walking 20mins all of it uphill, so it was a nice surprise.
The dentist check up gave me the all clear. Phew. He tried to get off the tooth I'd stuck back in just after Easter, but I'd done it so well, he was afraid of damaging the remaining tooth, so he just cleaned up the excess plaster (using 'the excavator') and said that we'd just have to let it come loose by itself and when that happens, I'm to turn up at the surgery and he'll see me in between patients and stick it back in. Lovely man.
Had a good chat with big sis. Contracts have now been signed, and completion is set for a couple of weeks' time. It will be sooooo good when it is done and we have the money in the bank to pay for mum's care.
I did do some moderation. One perfect lovely centre, then one perfectly rotten one that will require more of my time. Ah well.
I was considering cycling to work tomorrow, but I may have heavy packages to bring home, and if not, I may stop and do a £10 icyland shop, to qualify for a free £5. And it may rain in the afternoon. I am such a fair weather cyclist! But yet I'll run in any weather - the worse, the better...
Y11s start their study leave tomorrow. I'm glad I'll be there to see them and say goodbye.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I don't mind getting up at 6, but anything beginning with a 5 seems just too much!
Great news re completion happening soon

Didn't get up early today either!
Plenty of walking - over 15k steps.
Got the all clear on my marking :T so have finished one centre - 33/300 ish done, though I need to input the last few marks and do the feedback document, so maybe I shouldn't use the word 'finished'!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Today I have eaten too much :bdaycake:! But loved every mouthful.
I got the marking properly fully finished, as well as a pesky moderating one. Not as much done as I'd hoped, but at least I did some...
Workout done: 12x 15/5 rocket launcher + plank jack; 12 mins of 10 each 1-leg jump + touch down; 5 each 1-arm push up (from belly down and only on to knees); 10 each jump lunge + kick up; 10 laying leg raise + butt lift. 3 rounds and 5 each leg jump. Then just enough time to wash, dress and collect dd.
Tomorrow I am out of the house from 9-12ish, so dh will take dd to dance. I may kick them out of the house in the afternoon or send them upstairs, so that I can continue with moderating, as the sooner I crack on with that the better, since that is where the pesky problems are most likely to occur.
I should also do some knitting as I want to finish the cardi for big sis' bday. Less than 4 weeks to go. Yikes.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Gosh you are marking already? Must have been an early exam.0
-
Aren't some of the language bits done? - I seem to remember seeing some timetabled in at work last week (although we were running Y10 end of year exams at the same time, so I could be mistaken!
- stooped decision by someone to run y10 exams just before GCSE/ A levels - the fallout from it was only finished yesterday!)

Yep. Language gcse deadlines both 7th may and my deadline is june 12, so plenty to do. Next year, with the spec change, the moderating will end and it'll all be marking again. I think the speaking stuff will still be early - always has been, however far back you go! It'll be more marking, but the pay should therefore also increase...
Anyhow, I was up at 6.10 today and have marked 13/300 ...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Dh has just gone out.
To buy a newspaper.
Because he is a grandad .
So I am a step-grandma.
And dd is an auntie:j.
Prior to the phone call about 10 mins ago, today's main news was that I'd found dd some hardly worn clarkes for £1 and a t0p m0del sketch book for 50p. And a singer hand sewing machine for £15.
All in all, not a bad day :rotfl:.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
