The ring has been found! By big sis, in a place I had already looked several times. Very pleased it has turned up.

A quiet day here in apple land. Dd was pleased with her Choices chocs - 2 bunnies and an egg - gluten/dairy/egg/soya free and still tasty.

I did a Zuzana bodyrock workout #134 Burpee Fusion. 10 burpee + 10 KB swings, 11 burpee + 10 KB swings... all the way up to 20 burpee. I did it in reverse, starting at 20, with a view to going down to 1 burpee. Heck no! 20 down to 10 took me 38m51. Enough.

Tomorrow will see dh seeking out an open chemist to buy some toofypeg mix to stick my tooth back in, and he can have a mooch around any open shops without us girls around. Dd has a friend coming over in themorning. I foresee a domesticated day.

Week 4/12.

Health: Yikes. One third Of the time gone and the weight loss is zilch. Mental health much better - a new chapter has started with mum in care. There were extremes - as ever - but more settled times than not. Fair amount of exercise done.

Wealth: not much spent. Realised that as we are mortgage neutral, and we could pay it off at any time, then I could do with researching savings. We also have a 'lead' to sort out buying the freehold (or is it the leasehold?) for mum's house.

Life well-lived: it was lovely to have dh and dd up with me, and all travel home together. And also to help/support big sis and get time with her. Cleaned the bathroom and kitchen at mum's, did a dozen loads of washing (at least), hoovered the house.

Dd trotted happily in to school this morning - yay!

I wandered up to Sainz, then did a Zuzana workout: Brutal 8 Exercise Drill. 2x: 30 walking lunge; 15 squat; 30 side lunge; 50 mountain climber; 15 (knee) push up; 30 step up; 30 reverse lunge; 15 plank + 2 row. Took me 18m34.

I have logged on to the 2 components that I am marking/moderating this year. One of them always gives me a fright as it doesn't work in our usual internet browser - and I manage to forget this every year!! Thank goodness for dh.

If I am to achieve said work, I require a working space. As happens every year, Inow need to do some serious tidying up of my gubbins to free up a space. Time to set a timer for, ooh, a massive 15 mins and see how far I can get...

Suffice to say that a girl in dd's class is consistently mean to her. It ebbs and flows, we have involved SLT in the past. We are happy with what the school has done. But it is hard to stop a clever girl who chooses to be nasty.

Today was a training day, and although I do not work on a weds, I needed to be there until 1pm. I cycled there. And back home too. Go me, eh? I took it very easy and thoroughly enjoyed the cycling. My legs took me there very easily, but were pretty reluctant to get me home again. So tomorrow, I'm catching the bus!.

Dd passed her recent maths test :T, moving up to silver level. She has been trying to move up all year, so we are very pleased she did it. She is rightly chuffed to bits.

Big sis rang to say that the home are keeping mum. Phew. Not that we thought that they wouldn't, but until it was confirmed, we had a sneaking suspicion that mum might not pass the 'probationary period'. Now we'll have to part with some cash...

Just about recovered from the cycling!

Had a decent day at work yesterday, and bumped into an ex-pupil on the way home, so had a good natter.


Did a Zuzana workout from the bodybuilding.com website. Eek. Just a 15 minute bodyweight one. Worth doing.

Finished all 10 bees, so must add that to the craft total.

Dd had a friend over for her first visit and it all went very well, which is pleasing.

Did my first bit of standardisation work for an exam component, and did okay. Phew.

Watched the Sarah Beeny living mortgage free prog, and wasn't mega inspired. However, we'll keep recording it...
