What do you mean about claiming money back?

That sounds great. Would you mind if I borrowed your format? I report on finance every now and again, but would like to cover health and a life well lived too.

Borrow away! I nicked the headings from Craig Ballantyne anyway, so claim no originality for it...

The reclaim money bit is just remembering to put in for some expenses. Nowt exciting!

Saw my 'new' counsellor today and will be going back. I can go at the time I wanted to and on the day I wanted to. The bus journey was simple, although I had to run the 1/2 mile back to the bus stop to save having to wait another 30 mins for the next bus home.

Did another b'rock workout - this one is so old that it has no title, just a number in my notebook. So, #32 it was. 5x: 10 forward crossover lunge + 3 pulse + back leg side kick + lunge back; 6x squat thrust + press up + side plank + elbow to hand + plank + jump 180; 5 each side side lunge + jump up. Despite being complicated to write down, it was fairly straightforward to do, and took 17m30.

Dd has had a pyjama day today - much needed. She's a tad under the weather and is getting a runny nose.

Operation spring clean :rotfl: has started with me unpinning the fleeces from the lounge curtains and washing them. What an auspicious start, eh? Tomorrow it's the turn of the curtains themselves...

Dh has to leave by 6.40am tomorrow so I may not see him before he goes. I have told him not to bother making me a morning drink!

Dh was up and out in time.

The curtains are swooshing around in the washing machine.

Dd is full of snot and coughing - am v glad I bought 2 boxes of tissues yesterday.

We get mum's mri results this afternoon.

I have ironed my curtains . Only because otherwise they shrink and sit higher than the draught excluders (full length windows, who'd have 'em?)

This evening will be the turn of the nets, in with the bedding I've just stripped off. 3 days to complete 1 window - I am so on a roll...

Dd and I went off to a new (to her) ch shop area this morning, which she thoroughly enjoyed. 6 ch shops gave us a good mooch, and I was pleased to discover that one of them is the Sally Army, so next time we go, I'll take along a re-bag filled up for them. The shops I usually use takes 3 buses to get there, so this one will be easier.

Inspired by you and trying to simplify life, I have Saturday down as bottom of the fridge soup day, to use up everything and warm us up too!

A home-made workout done involving jump squats, jump lunges, sumo lunges + leg lift, and mountain climbers.

Icyland, sainz and the library all done.

Nets ironed and back up downstairs so I no longer feel like I'm in a fishbowl. Our curtains drying on the climbing frame (naturally), dd's curtains now being washed along with the draught excluders.

And today's genius moment - I found the hole for the rotary airer to go into, after far too many minutes of scrabbling in cold wet grass trying to find it. Success!

That Beauty and the Beast movie is rather scary! All the moreso when the cinema have the volume turned up to 11... That has now used up our Cmas cinema voucher credit (and then some!), so no more visits now, unless they are super cheap ones.

Packing is underway for 8 days away. Not sure where I'll be sleeping... But am going to support big sis, and do what she wants. She must be on a countdown - whether to freedom or collapse remains to be seen. I'm also on a countdown but mine has dh and dd arriving on the day mum goes on her visit.
