Have a read - if you have time - of older threads too. Especially going back to the ones run by ninjasavingkat. They are awesome. I'll give you a shout when I set up the August challengeNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Dh trotted off to church to do the pa, dd and i stayed home, resting. She definitely has benefitted from it.
I have cut out 2 robin doorstops and sewn up most of one, stripped the bed and done a whites wash, washed up and made a supremely healthy lunch. Tomorrow is weigh-in day and this morning I was on track to have to pay my friend £10. Uh oh!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
And I have added in a 4000 step walk to the day's 'done' list. Go me!
Tomorrow:
-go to work and ...
...check software mentioned on infant sows
...see if delivery for infant teaching has arrived
...do my darnedest to get some of the gcse sow written
...allocate supplementary support grammar sheets to grammar in sow
...see if there is any money left in our budget (sharing a budget means I'm never sure!) And maybe spend some...
I'd like to only stay there for 3 hours :rotfl:.
I had a therapeutic sort through my felt stash last night, and started a list of cmas hanging decs to make. I'll need to buy in some felt as I have an awful lot of pale pink, which is not a very cmassy colour! But I did pick up an owl, in felt, about 9"x11", so could try making a couple of those... Might make a template while Murray hits a ball around for a while.
No spends yesterday and no spends today, taking me up to 7, I think.
Dh received a surprise cheque today, which pays almost half of a month's mortgage payment. Very much appreciated.

Bin there, dun that :T And only stayed 2hrs30.
All items partially or wholly achieved, and I can now do the rest from home, I think.
Off out in a bit to meet a friend for a coffee - a rare, child-free occasion for us both.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Good coffee and a good chat with my friend - and she paid, so I thus retained my NSD. It'll be my turn to pay next time, but am planning on using my points...
The felt owl is coming along nicely and should be finished tomorrow. Then I need to lay out my neat stash, allocate what I have to projects, and see where I need to acquire/purchase more of certain colours. Friend suggested selling bundles of things - so, £1 each or 6 for £5.
Also need to spend a minimum of 1 hour on focussed prep. Ideally 1 on gcse and another 1 on infants.
We got caught in the downpour today and arrived home totally drenched. So dd had her jamas on by 3.30!
Tomorrow:
-big long walk, possibly to ch shop area to seek felt (and get bus home)
-prep x2
-stuff robins
-watch TourNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Didn't do my planned long walk - we had forgotten dd's glasses so once I'd dropped her off and walked home, I needed a rest and didn't feel like it. Pesky cold.
Dh and I did drive to the ch shops and had a little mooch. I found some lovely unworn shoes for me and was told at the till that shoes were 1/2 price today. Result.
Robins didn't get stuffed but prep work did get done, and it used up most of my remaining brain power. And there is still such a lot to do...
The rain did indeed return for the school run, but I was better prepared today. Forecast is the same for tomorrow too. Yuk.
I Tilly Tidied my account, so am nearing 10% paid off.
Tomorrow:
-take dd to cheer for 8am
-return home for a coffee
-back to school in governor mode for 9am
-back home again, and probably do more sow prep
-do a little exercise
-collect dd
-back to school for governor meeting
I make that 4 trips to the school!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Go me - all of my list is done except for the final one which is at 5.30. :j
Exercise turned my legs to jelly. 10mins of: 12 lunge + 12 jump lunge; 12 squat + 12 jump squat; 12 side lunge + 12 jump side lunge; 6 belly blaster. I did 3 rounds and down to 3 squats. Changing the order was a wizard idea - think it was harder but more effective. Toyed with the idea of using light dumbells, but only during the first round! I think it will be better to increase the time first.
I have cut out as many penguins, owls, holly, trees, bells, and stars as my felt quantities will allow. Now I need to source more. Thus far I have only had to buy 1 pack online of varied colours, and have been lucky with family + charity shop finds. Now I need specific colours, so the hunt is on...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Caffeine overload today caused a rather extreme reaction: nausea and shaking hands! Hadn't eaten breakfast before taking dd to school, but had had 2 coffees. Friend then said she'd pick me up to go swimming, and we had a coffee in their cafe after. About 2 mins out from home I started feeling like throwing up and the shakes started once home. Eek! So I downed 2 pints of water and 3 scrambled eggs. Once that had settled I lay on the floor for a while! It took several hours to pass, and I wonder if I'll get to sleep later...
Anyhow, the swim has worn me out, using muscles I'd forgotten about...
I have nearly finished the bunny - just need to attach arms and draw on eyes. Robins still need stuffing...
Tomorrow is dd's sports morning, lunch together and a look at her workbooks. I have an 8.30 gov meeting, and must also sort out some important parce1f0rce parcels and get them to the PO.
Am loving the Tour de France.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
The swim + buying the coffees = almost £10. Ouch. Painful to part with that amount. Next time I'll be walking the 2 miles to my local pool where I get in free, and then catch the bus home = £1.50. Much better.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

I sympathise on losing whole afternoons, coffees and other consumables have well been known to do similar to me (in fact, I think too much chorizo last night is the cause of my feeling rather green today
). Hope you sleep well and feel much better tomorrow! x
