2 brown corduroy robins doorstops to make for presents. Other presents are all ready.
Off to continue the gf breadstick hunt tomorrow. And return to spocksavers to get my glasses sorted, hopefully.
Weight loss challenge friend has agreed to new terms: if we weigh more on weigh-in day each week than the previous week, then we give the other one £10. Each time it happens.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Yay, holidays!a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0

First days of holidays! Went to local town with dh.
He returned the mouldy pizza base and got a replacement and opened it in store, as I had suggested. And the chap who did the refund refunded the amount we had paid for 2 packs. Dh realised at the door but couldn't then find anyone to tell!
In the meantume I went to spocksavers and had very good customer service and can see better. Result. £2 on 2 mahoosive gf choc brownies (though the guy serving used the normal cake pincers, thus contaminating them... will trim dd's one round all the edges). £2 on pret coffees and a good chat. £2 on 2 books for dd. £2 on apricots and peaches.
We completed the gf breadstick quest and bought 5 packs from a big sains.
Then I saw the clarkes sale and went for a nosey at sandals. And bought some! They were more than I wanted to pay, but very nice and mean that I'll not be wearing my trekking-style ones all the time, and will do for work. Enough justification? At the till they were further reduced and in a price bracket I was happy with.
We got free parking and I have done 9000 steps thus far:T.

The challenges are on the debt-free challenges bit of the forum. I love them - a different flavour each month, but all with the aim of debt-busting.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0
