We are not perfect. We need to get over the fact that we have faults and always will. Deal with it. Admit your flaws. Ask for help. Take Action. Never stop improving. “Persistence is a sure path to success with quality activities. Never, ever, ever, give up.” – Kekich Credo #75

Have a clear and concise vision for your life. Know what matters. Know what doesn't. Know what you want. Know what you don’t want. Know what you will do and what you will not do. Be mindful of each at all times. Set boundaries to achieve more with less stress.

A couple of quotes for today that I like. :D

I had an email requesting a robin doorstop and a bunny today. Yay! The robin was already all cut out, so have sewn him and stuffed him. The bunny was one already made. Result. I may need to acquire more tweedy material, but only from the Sally Army as I have such a lot of credit with them, it would be silly to spend elsewhere. (Although I may just go and look elsewhere on the £1 rails...)

The Head presented me with a beautiful bunch of flowers today, as a thank you for stepping in and covering the extra teaching. A lovely gesture. Shame the flowers made me sneeze! I had a double lesson with my y10s and by the end of it we were all sneezing or had itchy eyes! I have given the flowers to my neighbour, as she loves lilies (they weren't yet open - I am super allergic to them!), so she is happy. :D

    Another NSD, #18.

2 short walks done, and my steps are finally over 10k.

    NSD 19.

Psyching myself up for a governor meeting - by having the tennis on and coming on here! I have checked, and there seem to be NO docs for me to read beforehand. Nice. If I am wrong, I'll have to blag my way through.

Tis raining in Wimbledon so will arrive here soon...

Ooh - just noticed that I have been paid! So have paid my final big wodge off the mortgage for the year. Smug face is on as it drops us down to the next thousand.

Would love to pay off the required £3980 by the end of the year, to drop down to the 29Ks, but my wage drops a lot now, and dh is still not working. I can dream!!

Went to my meeting to find out that it wasn't on! Silly me had gone on the wrong day. Just as well is it only a few minutes' walk away. Shame it was pelting down with rain. but I skipped (some of the way) home anyway.

Back to the tennis, HUTH and Spanish omelette :D.

    Hey you!!!

    News:
I move house in...3 days. I'm living in a pristine land of perfectly packed boxes and still perfectly lived in looking flat with gleaming everything because there are sale viewings ongoing all week. It's bizarre and my OCD is not happy with me. Especially with a brand new king size mattress leaning against my bedroom wall for the next few days. But hey.

No more babies. Thank goodness. I feel too old and too exhausted. Lol. Mine starts school in September. 3 more weeks of nursery!!

New place is a brand new converted victorian house. 2 floors are mine, the other is utterly soundproofed, I can't hear a thing from them. 3 bed, 2 bath. I am super excited and it is a 30 second walk from school and nursery!

Lol at you skipping in the rain from your meeting. Would love to have seen it!! :) Looks like you're a very busy bee! Sorry DH still not working. How are you all? xx

Lilty - the new place sounds wonderful! Is it 3 beds for you and jelly? Can't quite fathom how the wee tot can be going to school in september! Hope she loves it :D

A good day at work where I got a lot of work done as prep for planning for new specs in sept. I am hoping to get it complete by mid-july. Plus the ankle biter schemes of work too...

Stopped off at some ch shops on my way home, naughty apple. Got a white double flat sheet, a shirt for dh, an xl brown cord jacket to use for robin doorstops (this is the purchase I am least happy about) and 2 cushions (cover and inners for £1 each - wow!). All in all, I spent £11.50. Must stop spending...

Dd is coughing an awful lot, and is running a temperature. I've got some ice cream down her but that is all. Think she may be off school tomorrow...

I have been paid £15 for items I've made. And the exam board have coughed up all they owed me. Happy bank account :D. And I can't wait to pay half of it to the mortgage :rotfl:. It'll 'only' be a couple of hundred pounds, but all worth it.

Dh has rediscovered some currency to change back to sterling. All useful!

Am going to change my sig 'stretch' bit to /£3980 as a reminder to aim for that by dec. As if I need a reminder!!

Lots of great money news, Apple! :T I'm sure that stretch target won't know what's hit it ;)

My final day of the four-days-per-week period. Yay! :j

Dd is having the day off school as she has spent the night coughing and is running a temperature. Dh will be in charge!

I have just 3 lessons to teach today, a duty to do, and a mountain of paperwork to tidy away. And soooo much prep for next year. I see my colleagues - also freed up from teaching their exam classes - sitting around chatting, and I have no desire to join them, as the more I get done now, the easier next year will be. I don't want to become a moany one if it is all my fault through lack of planning...

3 more working days. Wonder just how much of it I can get done...

Today: teach; scan; print out (ha ha - have to find a working printer first) and file said print outs; check to see if orders have arrived and chase up if not; plan, plan, plan. Then probably re-jog the plans as they are 'not quite right'.

    Should be a fun-filled day...

I have one poorly dd. She will not be at school tomorrow, and probably not at dance on Sat nor taking part in the cheer display at her school fair. And she is not bothered at missing any of it, which shows how rotten she feels.

We are getting a quote this evening to replace a couple of windows and the front door. They need doing, so hope it is reasonable...

I was planning a lonnng walk tomorrow which will not happen now. I brought no school planning home, so can't do that! I have cut out a brown corduroy robin doorstop to take on Sat, as a different version on the tweedy ones, so I can get that done tomorrow.
