But I did send off the order for the books, see the Head about next year, and finish paperwork for France. :T

Tomorrow: prioritise exam marking so that I can write some reports, and budget... Maybe... And photocopy paperwork for France...

Am feeling enriched today, from being very well looked after by a couple of colleagues and my dep head. The dep head asked a colleague to do my morning for me - I hadn't asked her to, just said that I wanted to find a corner and cry... So I did the afternoon session and once again was singularly unimpressed...

I did get my y9 marking done and made good progress onthe reports.

More bits done for the trip. Will it ever be fully done....

Nowt done for budget apart from look at column headings... Day off tomorrow and budget due Thurs 9am, and departmental colleague has done nothing for it, didn't even know when the deadline was... Guess I'll be doing that tomorrow.

Tomorrow? Dd to cheer; dh to tip (with stuff, not he himself going in a container...); both us big people to dd's assembly; me to doc; budget; more unfinished exam board paperwork. And rest.

Cheer - done; tip - done; assembly - done; paperwork for board - done.

Currently resting with my feet up on dd's bouncy hopper and HUTH :D. And dh will do some food shopping while I am in with the doc. A plan!

The visit to the dr lead to blood tests and xrays. Wow! Unfortunately not in the dr surgery, so we did have to drive a bit, but it was well worth it to get it over and done. And hopefully, by the time it all gets sent back, I will be feeling as if I am recovering and it will all be negative. Must keep scaling htings back and not keep overdoing it, as work really takes it out of me already.

Have cobbled together a budget for work. Luckily it doesn't need to be very detailed, so it didn't take very long - and I had a couple from recent years to look at.

Exam board have sent an electronic payslip for one component, which will be very nice when it eventually makes it to my bank account. Half will go off the mortgage and the rest will pay for a cottage away in the summer.

Dh is fully pro getting rid of the mortgage - he had some pennies from shares, which he paid straight off it. Result.

Dd had a nasty bang on the side of her face/ top of her cheekbone at school, which is coming up nicely and should be worth a photo!!!

I also wwrote this yesterday, after posting on here:

"Dd has had a nasty side of face/cheekbone bump with another child and it is looking like a good shiner. Poor thing. We are not happy with how the office dealt with the situation - we discovered an answerphone message on the house phone at 5.30pm, timed at 1.20pm, telling us about it and asking us to pop in and see dd, as she was wanting to come home. No attempt to contact us on our mobiles. Even though we were some distance away at the hospital for me at that time, dh would have returned for her and I'd have managed on the buses. So dd spent the afternoon hoping we would appear for her. I have already drafted a letter for dh to take in tomorrow and give to the head, but have asked him to possibly tone it down a little..."

I was ever so cross with the particular member of the office team who did this... Still am really. Dh has re-jigged the letter and it is much better!

A gazillion things to do today - not feeling the enthusiasm for any of it, just overwhelmedness, as dd struggled to sleep and then had a nightmare and came in to our bed leaving me with no space to move. I returned her to the floor bed at 11.45 but was still awake at 2, then up at 5.45.

But hey! at least I am not allocated to any enrichment activities today :j. My own activity starts at 5am tomorrow...and it should be truly enriching...

Today: reports, budget, risk assessment, marking + more reports, and everything for tomorrow. Peasy...

Ahh, I'd be utterly fuming at the school, Apple! :( How disappointing and awful of them :(

Hope the day gets better; I've not slept and have been feeling a little  at how busy everything is too. Don't think this mad, hot and stormy weather is helping matters much either - I'm at headache central.

But hey, onwards & upwards! :)

Let's just say that it is probably just as well that my first version of the letter about it was not the one we used...!

I have now finished being enriched by someone else's pp organisation. Phew. And tomorrow I do my own enriching along with 33 kiddies in France. Their day will have purpose and meaning: if they do not speak the lingo, they'll not get any food! Am hoping for a dry day, and a decent night's sleep as I am getting up at 5. Gulp.
