I have done over 10,000 steps already!

School run, coffee run, library, gf bits from sainz, couple of very good and thought-provoking conversations with other people about jobs for dh, and envelope dispatched.

Still to do: paperwork, telly and knitting. And maybe some exercise...?

All the tasks have been accomplished today :D

Dd's cardi now has a back, an arm and 3/4 of a front side. Progress!

    Tomorrow:
-take dd to dance and get out and walking while she is in there - tho prob have to pop back every 30 mins as she changes class and wants me there...
-go to a playground with dd in the afternoon
    -claim expenses and fees
    -small workout
    -knit some cardi front

We did dance and I got a short walk in. Sat outside and read my book during another class. And dd bailed out of the third one.

We went on a zelf hunt after lunch, and ended up with monster high . Oops! It was raining lightly when we left the house, and turned into a downpour. But we plodded on and squelched round the sm. While dd chose, I stood there dripping on to the floor! And then we caught the bus back home.

I have sorted out what I need to fill in on the forms, which is now a job for tomorrow.

And I did another small workout, and have learned that elbow plank jacks make my feet/ankles hurt again (tho maybe jump lunges and jump squats don't help much either...); chest presses make my dodgy shoulder hurt; and my thumb bases are really aching so I did something wrong there. I am not yet old enough to be such a feeble wreck...

Dh is on PA tomorrow and I'm on kids klub as someone dropped out at the last minute. Grr. The rotas are sent out in plenty of time, so I get peeved when people do this.

    What is PA?
Hope you get things organised at work and the job situation goes dh's way.

PA = Public Address (system) ie he is doing the sound at church. Means an earlier start than usual as he has to be there by 9.

I wasn't needed in the end for kk, so dd and I stayed home :D and sent dh off with the car. Dd has since hardly eaten and has had a headache and tummy aches. Play, a 1986 My Little Pony movie and chewits have all helped to restore her a little.

I am having a lazy day indeed. Some money moved to the mortgage. Washing up done. Expenses and fees forms filled in and enveloped. (Cannot quite believe that all the marking and moderating [apart from returning work to centres in August] is finished) Father's day cards written and enveloped. Lunch for tomorrow made. Book finished and another one started - good old Alistair Maclean. Live triathlon on the box.

This week: departmental budget; research other new text book and make a decision and buy; reports; France trip. And be fully involed in 'Enrichment Week'.

  • I would teach the rugrats.
    Good experience!

I was somewhat sarcastic in feedback with the centre who didn't pay full postage on their parcel.

Enriched? Nope. Impoverished? Yep. Mentally and physically. Did not get to sit down all day except in my break times when I was doing the paperwork for Friday, printing it off and collecting it from the printer in another room.

Feet, ankles, fingers, thumbs, hand, all back to aching . Humph.

And tomorrow is similar, but outside all day...

Then I am off on weds, in lieu of fri, and have not (yet?) been allocated on thurs.

Am going ahead with teaching the littlies.

Dh agrees that dropping off his cv + a covering letter at our local aldee would be a good idea.
