Thamk you Lilty! You are adorable

The 12 weeks may aim to add in good habits/stuff rather than aim to 'not do' things... I've read that after 4 weeks, you feel and notice a difference; aftrr 8 weeks those nearest start to notice; after 12 weeks, acquaintances notice.

Last night here, and not v different: dd still not asleep, trains still being pesky. Bags are mostly packed and much fuller than when we came over! Some stuff from mil, some purchases. Hope they aren't too heavy!

Am planning to have a stall/table at my school's summer fair, around July 4th. Hmmm, that is only 94 days away! Gulp. How many bunnies do I need? Should I try my hand at a few snowmen? Or something else from my Tilda book of ideas?

current sig shows only 16! Oops. Must grt some pink gingham/small check.

Hope your journey home is uneventful x

My best friend of 30+ years is currently living in San Antonio (3 year secondment with work) - it is apparently VERY hot! Whilst we have an open invitation to visit, I haven't done so - plane fares for the 6 of us during school hols are just *too* much. Plus she lives in the middle of nowhere so the kids would get bored if we weren't out doing stuff - adding to the expense. Thankfully she's been back over here a few times (work funded twice and once for a family wedding) so I've still seen her. Shall be glad when she's back at the end of the year, though :)

Another one admiring your 12 week plan. I'd like to lose a stone by 4th July - so that gives me about 13 weeks - should be easily achievable in theory!! :D

Your 12 week plan is a wonderful idea, Apple and very motivating. Wish I could aim for something similar, but it's baby steps for me presently I think!

    Have a safe journey home.

Helloooo greent and MeandO - thank you for popping by.

A plan is only a plan until it is executed, so pls keep me accountable to actually making a bit of an effort on it!

I hope to report an uneventful journey home... But we only have 1 hour to change in Atlanta and I'm a tad anxious that IT WON'T BE LONG ENOUGH AND WE WILL BE STRANDED INTHE AIRPORT! Whimper, whimper...

And, greent, I'm not sure I'd recommend spending much time in San Antonio at all! Especially with a big family. If we come out again, we'll spend all our time at MIL's and do some day trips from there. She is 12 miles out from Llano, no internet, among some 8 dwellings. Dh is planning on arranging internet access + laptop for her,via her lovely neighbour. He struggled with no web connection!!

I think it worked because dd can spend a few days happily not going out, and the journey out took a while to get out of her system so she was v happy not to get in the car too often.

We've only filled up once so far and dh muttered about 'having a $20 limit on the credit card?' and then realised that the prices are per GALLON!

Day temperatures have reached 30°, so summer muct be stifling. Dd's not coped well with such heat and humidity so another Eastertime visit would be best. (especially if mil pays again...!)

So, Blighty here we come (I hope). Back to jumpers, 12 weeks plans, crafting bunnies and aldee. Must rescue my bike from the garage - approx 100yds from the house and I don't trust the up-and-over door to stay up when I'm inside, so need dh along too.

Back to thrifty ways and not spending.

    Back to kondo-ing.

    Back to spring cleaning.

Back to road rage and impatient drivers.

    Back to moderating y11 assessments.

Having arrived at the airport ridiculously early - about 5 hrs! - we have been assured that 1 hr in Atlanta is plenty. Phew. No need to collect luggage like we had to in Minneapolis and we have our boarding passes for both flights.

So we are now all on our tech(!) watching planes through the window, keeping charged via the sockets u der the seats.

Talking of seats, we're back to those incomplete ones in the airport loos...

Hey you! Safe journey back :) sorry for atrocious spelling on last message. I knew what I meant  :o

Glad you've stopped worrying about the change of flight... and hope DD manages the journey ok bless her!!

Hate to concern you but your jumpers might need to stay away! I've been out in t-shirts the last 2 days and I am uncomfortably nesh!!! :D

I will keep you accountable ;) especially on the bunny count. Jelly idolises her 'Mim Mim' and sleeps with her every night. She even does the 'Mim Mim, funny bunny friend, it's time to come to life again!' and spins her around!! :D:D xxx
