Where did Friday go then? Who stole it? At least it was an NSD.
We had to run through Atlanta airport! And the darned lady I asked for info gave us the wrong terminal and gate, so we then had to run a little harder! But we made it - yay! Dd got some sleep, as did I, but I was having kidney issues, I think, from lack of water for several hours so was not in a good way. Dh got hardly any as he had to look after dd...
Once home we all crashed out. Dd woke me to tell me that my snoring was keeping her awake and she was going into her room to play instead! Dh had set an alarm and woke me 2 hours later, as he had to go to church to trial some video linkup thingy.
Bed time came soon enough and dd slept 13 hours. I did 12! And dh woke me with a coffee - good man!
And now we have sporticus on telly followed by a more grown up Dora. The joy of being in Blighty!
Lilt - was in jumpers yesterday, and fleecy socks! Coming from 30° and air con almost 24/7 back to UK weather... Chilly!
Need to write up the Transformation plan today, on the laptop. I'll maybe do a weekly update on here, so as not to get too boring...!
Food shopping, washing and tidying up are on today's agenda. Fun fun fun!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Thanks greent. It's something that has recently cropped up as pain and seems to be linked with too much coffee and not nearly enough water. Drinking copiously helps. I often drink upwards of 3 litres a day anyway - don't know how others manage to drink so little!
Had a letter from an 'investment' thingy I've had for yonks. Turns out it has just over £7k in it and made £350 in the last 6 months. I've not added to it in my memory and it's still in my maiden name (only 14+ yrs, then). Not bad! And when I showed it to dh, he was impressed that it's a S&S ISA.
2 bunnies are already cut out and I've cut out 2 snowmen so far. Am having trouble getting the arms to hang how I want then, but I will not be beaten by some white fabric!!!!

Hey you
I forgot to mention before, since I had hydronephrosis when I was pregnant with jelly, I really struggle if I drink too much coffee and don't top up with water, or if I don't drink for a few hours! My kidneys cause some serious pain and really begin to grumble, and it can take 24 hours before they stop hurting so I always try to have a drink with me constantly. I thought I was just weird, so almost glad to know I am not the only one!!
Yay for your S&S ISA, very good, no interest. Did you set it up yourself? I am going to set one up eventually but I just don't have the money to fill one right now so it seems a bit pointless for me as I can make more from current accounts in the current sad interest rates! xx

Crumbs, Lilty is asking technical questions... Ummmm. Originally it was shares in something run by Friends Prov who got taken over or something and it is run by F&C. I habe just let it sit there, but am pretty sure it's not been at this amount before! I habe ALL the paperwork in a folder (a bulging at the seams one, that hreatens to explode) as I obviously have yet to Kondo that part of life! But thank you for the 'very good'!
Phew, glad am not alone re kidneys. Ot maybe we are both weird....
Dd is trying to fall asleep as fast as last night. Aint gonna happen! Just watched the Lion, the witch and thr wardrobe with her. She copes much better with all the not-so-nice bits now - partly because she knows it all turns out ok in the end.
Kids klub is on dd's radar for tomorrow, then she's back to school on Mon. I still habe a whole week off - yippee! Must do marking. Must do marking. Must do marking. In fact, will schedule it in for a specific day, like MONDAY, to ensure I get it done.
Plenty of planting today. Dd and I both bought a box of seeds from aldee. I got herbs and she got wildflowers. So I then filled as many containers as poss with a mix of seed and potting compost and off we went. We'll see if pesky blighter squirrel digs them up...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
I am very much with DD on loving knowing the ending to things so that I can relax into watching them with someone. I have been known to rent a DVD prior to seeing a friend to watch it with them, just so I can get all the awkward bits out of the way. I have also been known to walk out of the room (pretty much nightly) if something comes on TV I can't cope with!
F&C aren't doing so well at the moment hun.. Friends Prov sold out so much to so many companies I am surprised you manage to track it!But yes you get a very good
and if you ever think about moving it to a new ISA give me a shout and I will do my best to help without incurring you any costs
that return does seem really good though! You should look through that paperwork some time and tell me what particular shares you are invested in
I like that sort of thing
Woohoo kidney buddies :T :rotfl: xx

Dd opted out of KK - she only woke up at 9.15 (oops) and although was fed and ready by 10, she started crying as she didn't know if she wanted to go or not. So I made the decision for her - reckon she's still jetlagged. Dh and I are too, but for us it's a case of not getting to sleep u til the early hours - ugh. He had to be out by 8am, poor thing. Have offered to pick him up.
So I did my 1st Transformation workout - zshred 1, available on utube. Still having 'issues' with my right calf, which I pulled 2 weeks ago - grr - but I did a full warm up and cooldown plus the workout. Now got jelly legs.
Have downloaded a dora in the city thing for dd, so she can watch that while I wash up and make cauli + broc cheese for lunch.
Also hope to:
-mow
-do 2 bunnies
-do 2 snowmen
-pack dd's sch bag, PE bag and lunch bag
-sweep floors
-sylvanian research with dd
Best shake a tail feather.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Best shake a tail feather.
Mowed front and back; swept some floor; got bike from garage and dh gave it a once over so it is fit to ride; some snowman work done - am not enjoying them! Can't get them to look how I think they should...
Dd's lunch bag is nearly done, once the pizza cools.
Swallowed a frog and sent an email requesting a meeting. Tomorrow's frogs are to cull emails yet again and do that pesky marking.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
