Hello all!
I love all the padded coat hangers, they are really lovely! I've been busy trying to make a couple of things for my children. First I finished a hair band holder made out of ribbon for my daughter, I really love how this turned out. Second I've been trying to finish a taggy blanket for my son but so far he won't give me enough time to finish it! Hopefully get it finished soon.

I'm more crochet and knitting but last year made myself make1 hat fro a premature baby any time I bought more wool! Think I need to make it 1 hat for every ball:) now as I still bar. Also not too keen on sewing so could do with finding someone who will sew up my finished projects. Currently have a dog,dress,2 cardigans and a jumper ready for sewing.0

Finished my gorjuss craft room sign and I have to say I love it. It makes me happy to think I've used bits and bobs which I have had lying around for ages and not had to spend any extra money to complete it.
I also managed to decorate 12 notepads yesterday as well so I can declare another 13 makes towards my total - my total completed figure is moving (albeit very slowly) to the target figure.
It also means that I have completed my 1 a day whilst the hubby's away challenge of 18 items as I now have made a total of 20 items since he went on Saturday. However as he is not back until the 2nd April ( 13 days away) I think I will still try and make at least another 13 things before he returns:)Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
I went to Manchester with my sons yesterday, my eldest had told me about a wool shop he walks past every morning so I had a quick look but didnt buy anything.
They waited outside and looked surprised when I came out empty handed but I know if I had started picking things up I wouldn't wanted to stop.
I hope you are all proud of me

Finished another tea towel.
Have a moral question - the family member that I am giving this to - is shall we say - more than a tad slap dash in their washing/housework. I want to treat all family members the same - ie - give them a stitchery tea towel. Am I being really mean - giving a lesser quality tea towel to the one who I know will mess it up? I plan to give them 2 tea towels instead of the one of top quality.
