I still have around 12 new tea towels left after using some for stitcheries. :o
Looks like family will get stitchery tea towels for more than one Christmas. :)
I have finished sewing the last of the stitchery tea towels. So that is a part of my Christmas presents done. :j
I have really enjoyed working on them. :)

    Could you try selling them?

Well this evening I am going on a hen night. One of the mums from DGDs school. So after my sewing lessons were finished I decided to make the bride a vail, and a Sash! The fabric all from my attic. The last time I made proper veils must have been 15 years or more ago! That just shows you how big a stash there is.
I will be loosing some though as the rain came in the roof and there are a few boxes are damaged.! Didn't look too closely incase I cried.
Was good to whip up something that wasn't an order or alteration that had to be done. Helped me wind down after a stressful week.
DGD has gone to her Grandad, going away in the caravan for the first time. Fingers crossed it goes well and they may take her for a week in the summer. Although the house seems strange when I know she isn't here.

Beautiful stuff on that link - the fabric is heavenly but - £25 a metre!

I know!!! Mad isn't it.... I wouldn't pay that for it, I'd try and find something in a charity shop that is similar fabric and a fraction of the price!!!

I watched the hoarder programme last night - I do have a love of craft supplies but the collector on there was wow!

Oh no, was it last night it was on? I thought it was Wednesday and couldn't see it on the listings anywhere, and was out last night. What channel was it please, I'll see if I can get it on catch up. I love those programmes, makes me feel very virtuous if I can get just one thing out of the house after it!!!

No crafting done this week, I'm 'procrastinating' about doing it and surfing the internet looking at ideas....

florenceem - what about making bags for storing fresh bread? Tea towels like you've used are ideal for that - supposed to keep it fresher longer somehow. It could become a tea towel & bread bag set!

These are the map shoes I made, plus a pic of the bag for YD. Hoping I can sell the shoes at some time or another, no rush.

Okay so have completed a few more things. One is a notebook for MIL for mother's day so that's one off my list and a couple of mothers day cards which are using up some teracotta pots that I have had for absolutely ages. I have made two cards (forgot to photograph one) and will make another 4 to use up all the embelishments.

Love the padded hangers - I used to have some of these years ago and really liked it for my delicate blouses.

Anyway a pic of the stuff I did for MIL.
