I thought it may be. I have been to Birmingham quite a few times in November to visit the NEC - HobbyCraft/Crafts For Christmas. I usually go every other year so 2014 is date for visit.

    Tea towel number 4 finished.
I bought these tea towels from Paperchased a few years ago. I had the idea of putting a stitchery on them and giving as presents as soon as I saw them in the sale. The tea towels are such lovely designs and quality.

the only way I can go really is if I get down my stash! Especially after today's little performance of buying 3 pieces of fabric. :o

I've spent today making bits for the bunting for my youngest granddaughters 2nd birthday party, I think I over did it a bit there's nearly 50 of the flaming things :rotfl:, I'm going to need a lot of bias binding for that lot :rotfl:. My oh bought me a wee drop tartan material as I think he was scared his kilt was going to be used, unfortunately when I started to cut the shapes I used the wrong template so the bunting isn't going to be the same as the rest of the stuff I've made, I'm hoping it'll still look okay though, it's seriously addictive this bunting making. I really fancy making the covered hangers they're gorgeous and I'm sure my daughters would like them.

I bought lots of packs of the padded hangers when they were in £land. Using these plus fabric & ribbon from my stash makes a lovely but cheap present. I used a tutorial from a blog but altered it a bit to suit me.

Note to self-get my 50 items finished out of my stash first. :D
