    They are amazing Rufusdog.
Love, love, love them! I want some. ( but it will have to wait until I have attacked all my other projects.
Fancy making some of Elaine's fabric envelopes for the twins. On top of all the other jobs.
Time to get up, I've been surfing on the iPhone since 6.20 where did the time go?
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Hi all, sorry I wasn't around at the weekend but as the weather was so lovely the kids and I were outside enjoying it :) Needless to say not much crafting has taken place since my last update :(

Florenceem - wow that outfit looked amazing - well done you - your daughter is lucky to have you :) Love the bag as well - what a clever idea. I think that no matter how much money you have a handmade gift always means more :) Can't wait to see the ball gown make :)

loopychris - congrats on using up one peel off sticker sheet - I found loads of these whilst I was clearing the sheds - for the moment they are in one of the pile of plastic boxes waiting to be used :) Looking forward to your next update :) You are always guaranteed to spur me on :) Thanks as well for asking rufus the shoe question - I am so going to have to try that as well :) Have a great time whilst you are away and enjoy your cuddles :)

Debrak - that doesn't sound like a slow start to me - you have made so much in a short space of time - well done. As for notelets I just use card blanks and decorate a set of 4 of them on a specific theme (eg flowers etc) and then package them together. Decoupage has too meanings and it still confuses me - one is the decoupage you are thinking of - where you build layers to add depth using images and foam pads. The other is where you glue "scraps" of paper onto items such as tables, letters and in rufusdogs case shoes :) I have to admit I haven't tried the latter much at all but after seeing such brilliant items on here I am so going to give it a go:)

tattycath - your list is getting longer - that stash will be busted in no time :) I can't believe you have finished the curtains already - I can't even type that quickly :) A massive round of applause to you - you are putting me to shame :)

mooloo - sadly money makes the world go round (and gets in the way of our crafting :)

kinski - my hubby gets under my feet and in the way of my crafting when he's here as well :( Well done on starting the bunting :)

emmi-bush - sounds like a great plan to me - my kids always seem to be at somebody's party and I am always making cards last minute. When you little ones get a bit older get them to make them :)

greentiger - well done on finishing up the sheet of toppers and the cards look amazing too - love the colours :)

rufusdog52 - The shoes are amazing. I live in my trainers but seeing those has made me want a pair of heels just like them and the idea about the hi-vis vest being made into armbands is so going to be one of my next projects. My eldest daughter refuses to wear hers too :)

susan42 - I've been distracted by the sport too :) I love the tops - that has given me a great idea for some tops I bought for crafting purposes - watch this space :) Thanks

emslovesmickey - hope you are bearing up a little more each day - my thoughts are still with you. You most certainly can be forgiven for purchasing - what a lovely idea - I'm sure it will mean the world to your family once it is completed. Remember you are amongst friends here on this thread so anytime you need us .....

scrapmate - great to see you again - I know what you mean about life - it always has a habit of doing that doesn't it :)

Well I can report that since last time I have the grand total of 1 card and also decopatched a chipboard heart I bought a few months ago at a school fete (purely to support the school of course). I have to say that I am quite impressed with my first efforts although it is no where near the amazing creations already posted on here :)

So my target figure is now two closer than it was - still a long way to go though. Better try doing a bit more of project life me thinks as I am a few weeks behind on this and hopefully will be able to get at least one page finished before I have to collect the kids. Every item counts :)

    Happy crafting everyone :)

    More stash busting here.
I have used some cotton sheeting - from CS + piece of interfacing + embroidery thread.
I have stitched - Redwork on to a tea towel - another part of a Christmas present ready. I used a vintage kitchen image and stitched in black to match the tea towel. I bought the tea towel in Paperchase - during a sale of course.
I have done frayed edges on this one - I backed the old cotton sheet that I stitched on with some interfacing. I will do stitched edges on the next tea towel - what do you think is best?

Thank you for the explanation on how to do the shoes Rufusdog, doesn't sound too complicated. I found a Beano annual in the bookcase today that I bought hubby a couple of years ago so I may just secrete it away in one of my drawers and hope he doesn't notice it's missing..... or I may just ask him outright and if he says no try and get one in a charity shop.

Daughter has OK'd the colour of the 'Order of Service' toppers for her cards, so I'll be sticking those on tonight. Won't get much more done though before I go away tomorrow. Was thinking of taking some of my projects away with me but I don't think I'll get too much time for playing except on the train journey.

Just trying to read through people's previous posts! Have now finished 10/50 cards and then remembered I had some cards with acetate in them for doing glass painting, so thought I'd do those. Unfortunately I chose some flower outline stickers to paint which require green, but when I opened my paints, the green had leaked everywhere so I'm going to need to buy a new one now!

Hope you're all having crafty weeks :)

or, emmi - you could put them back in your stash and do them later! No, that won't work - now you've rediscovered them you just have to do them or you'll go crazy with them calling to you from their hiding place!

Photos of curtains are still pending as I can't photograph them until I move some stuff or the photo will only be of part of them. :o
Still need to make Mother's Day card and I should be thinking about Easter too... :)

Have you got blue and yellow paints - mix them together and you should have green!
