Florenceem - Keep going it will be worth it in the end and then you can get back to the sewing you love :)

emslovesmickey - Well done :0 I love docrafts, tim holtz and buttons. Any chance of pics?

And I'm finally caught up - sorry for bombarding you all with so many posts and well done everyone on all your achievements.

I have just booked another 9 craft fairs to inspire me to make more :)

    Happy crafting :)
I have finished making the Snow Queen's crown - found that a real challenge. Did look in 99p/£ shops for a child's one to alter but nothing there. The sceptre is also finished as is the Turkish Delight box. DD managed to get some Turkish Delight today. Just the dreadlocks style hair to sort out now!

Goodness, you're going to be kept busy!!!

Welcome to rufusdog, I follow the Thrifty Gifty thread so know you from there. I think you live not far from me, I'm near Gravesend.

Had another mammoth effort today with the pricking designs, and got another 8 notelets done, so that's the last of the sets I wanted to get done for Christmas presents. Now need to put the inserts in them and stick on the 'Just a Note' embellishments and that's them done and can be forgotten about until December.

Total now 149 out of 500

Here's the February panel I made - it's been lying around since the start of last year, so between this thread and Soulie's challenge, it gave me the push to find it and get it finished. it is a wee bit "rustic" - even in the embroidery hoop the muslin stretches out of shape. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

    Lovely card, ems.

    Tenth Anniversary
    Hi everyone,

Been having a quick look through at what everyone has been making and very impressed.

I have made 10 more purple felt fridge magnets for Epilepsy Awareness Day.

Also a cushion in shape of licorice allsort with liquorice all sort print fabric on top and a black layer for the sides, so it looks like a licorice allsort sweet.

Made 2 Hello Kitty cushions by cutting out bonded fabric on cricut and then cut pattern out to share with friends on cricut.

Have cut out a monkey on cricut and not yet decided what to put him on. I also shared this pattern.

So 13 finished since last posted and monkey and a few owls to finish off.

Very slow progress for me due to arthritis and needing a lot of help but getting there slowly.

Have got the bug for cutting patterns and fabric on cricut used to cut loads on it and make skating tops for dd. Lately was only cutting fabric letters for bunting, but stepping it up a gear again, as results easy to get with minimal effort with arthritis pains.

Decluttered stash to friend for her scrapbook last week too.

Look forward to reading how everyone is getting on :)

    Hello all!
I've read lots of bits of this thread and after looking at the amount of craft stuff I currently have, I thought I should join! I am trying to make 50 cards before I buy any new bits. I also do sewing, but don't have a massive stash and generally make specific items so have to buy material for it. Maybe, that will be next years aim :)

That sounds interesting Rufus, love to see them when you've finished them. Or maybe not.... would give me more ideas!!! Not doing any stash busting this morning, we're wallpaper stripping at the moment so I've got to devote the morning to helping hubby. Luckily it's not a very big room (breakfast room off the kitchen) and the wallpaper is coming off very easily. Be back later with crafty update.
