I am now up to 16/17 on the challenge as I have finished another scarf. I have knitted the rabbit hat - just need to find out exactly what my 'customer' wants in the way of features.
I have started the baby fusion blanket. I have been on half term this week so managed to get an afternoon to sit and sew the padded squares and now comes the task of blanket stitching around them before I can crochet. I have been able to use some wadding and crochet cotton that I already had - so extra stash-busting! :j
Here are the squares so far

Ziggy - love the button hearts
Chiefpossession - loving the baby squares, that will look great once it's all put together.
Tattycath - you've been busy again, love the Victorian fabric.
I've excelled myself today: somehow I've managed to make 16 of the wedding thank you cards, and I dug out an unfinished cot quilt that I started making when my granddaughter was born - she was 3 just after Christmas! All I need to do now on it is to trim it and put the binding on, then hand stitch it down. It's no use for my granddaughter now, as she's in a normal sized bed so I'll either save it for the next grandchild, sell it or give it to a friend's baby, not decided yet.
So I've boosted my total by 16 today and got another project half done!

ziggy - those are lovely
chief - lovely idea. I might have to pinch it
mooloo - thanks for the apron link. As soon as I have shrunk out of my current jeans, I'd like to do this - and it'd ensure I wouldn't have them waiting in the wings "just in case".Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Ok, so I need to make some curtains... How hard can it be! Never made any curtains before.
I have some header tape? Recycled from another pair of curtains and I have my curtain fabric-bought and confessed to a while ago.
I have thread in every colour you could thnk of (in 2 big boxes with dividers)
Any pointers anyone can give will be most welcomed TIA.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Well...... I've only ever taken curtains apart, never made them. I think you hem the sides, then turn over some at the top and sew the header tape on, then the bottom hem. That's the theory anyway, it seems easy, but as I said, I've never made a pair. Good luck!!!Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Thank you.
I might get my machine out for them. It's a lot of sewing by hand.GE 36 *MFD may 2043
