Thanks craftingmad.
My sisters mother in law wants one now too so I need to make more. None of the ones I have made so far are for my house.
Hoping to have made 3 more by end of next week.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Time for my progress report:-
I have had a really manic week this week as both my kids have been taking part in sporting events here, there any everywhere each night after school. I'm really proud of them as my 10 year old daughter is now an athletics regional champion and my 6 year old son is regional gymnastics champion
However as the internet has been down I have had a bit of spare time (as I haven't been perusing pinterest etc) and so have made a further 3 owl treat boxes and 3 x sets of 4 notelets (so 12 notelets in total).
That brings my total up to 351
I will get there. I still cannot see any dent in my stash yet thoughMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Love the draught excluders tattycath, they're really easy once you get started aren't they?
Congratulations on having a couple of champions in the family craftingmad, will we be seeing them at the Olympics in future years?!!! Don't worry about not seeing a dent in the crafting stash.... neither can I. I think it will only be if I physically remove it from the house and give it away that I would see any improvement!
I've been slowly sorting through some craft stuff and chucking odd random bits that I won't use. When I say chucking, I really mean putting in a bag for the nursery at the local hospital where my grandson attended. They are grateful for any little bits and pieces they can use.
Today I have had a determined effort, and have finished sticking the diamantes on. Have also punched out some heart shapes which will be going on the Order of Service cards, 4 on each so not so many to stick on. Will finish those tonight whilst watching Jonathan Creek I think.
So I'm on target for finishing them by the end of February! Next step is to fold the A4 card in half to make a card, and stick the pricked out designs on. Then print out 'Order of Service' and stick on the pricked out design, then their names and date on another piece of card and stick that on the A4 card under the other bit. So.... gradually getting there. When all that's done I can't do any more until they've decided on the hymns etc. so I can do the inserts and put the ribbon on. I can leave that job until a week before the wedding, shouldn't take long and I won't be running around like a headless chicken panicking because I haven't finished them! That will be a novel experience....!
Have to admit to a small purchase this week... I needed some more pva glue as I'd finished up the other tube.Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Mr tc thought it seemed expensive but I thought it was cheap. It seems to go a long way. I have quite a lot left.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Loving the draft excluders, I could do with a couple of them as I live in a drafty Victorian house. I've not started the bunting yet as my oh shoved some material in the very deep cupboard under the stairs, I'm claustrophobic so I had to wait on him getting it out for me, as soon as I threatened to shove his golf clubs in the back yard he got the material for me :rotfl:, I've cut out a dog coat just need to get it sewn up which I'll try and get done this weekend if the grandbrats will let me
. I've been looking at some old tables I have lying about and I'm tempted to try and do decoupage but I'm not sure what kind of paper I could or couldn't use, maybe one day I'll give it a go.

Tattycath: well done on sewing the draught excluders by hand, but.... why? If you have 2 machines.... it would be a lot quicker to use a machine!
Bit more of an update today: finished sticking the hearts on the O of S cards, all 40 of them are finished now. Also made another 2 thank you cards so
total now 103 out of 500Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

loopychris, I didn't mean to sound critical of your list - I think you're amazing and love seeing the progress you're making. Like craftingmad says, it gives me a friendly kick up the bo**om too. Keep posting it. Oh I remember the time it took to do my daughter's wedding stationery - no diamantes but loads of teeny bows to tie; it seemed to take up all my waking hours for weeks. It was worth it in the end though
tattycath, you've quite a wee production line going with those draught excluders. Well done.
crafting mad, congrats to champs. You've been very productive too. Thanks for the encouragement you keep giving to everyone.
susan, well done with your paintings - you must get some great satisfaction from having them in an exhibition.
Nothing finished for me today but I have attached the backing to the front of the memory quilt. I chose fleece, so it does not need wadding. I've got the binding cut, so just need to press in half and attach. Probably won't get it done tomorrow, as we'll be out all day, but Sunday .....
