Sewing up of the sweater is to commence later.. I want to cry before I even pock it up.. it is so heavy

I hate the sewing up bit too. I avoid knitting anything with too much sewing up at the end. I'm not sure why because the knitting bit actually takes a lot longer but if someone could design a garment that you can knit all in one piece it would be a winner!

Just starting a crochet blanket to use up a mountain of mixed beige wool that somebody kindly gave me some centuries ago!:rotfl:

Im going to make more for easter for family and friends, they look good and the cost - some ink, a sheet of paper and a frame :-)

And on a positive note decluttered my clothes, got 320 at the clothing place and the ones I listed on ebay sold , the idea is to save lots of money and when I completed my 2014 items, spend lol

crafting mad - it sounds terrible 5,5 items a day, I better pull my finger out. I made two cards so I`ll add 3 to my total

Hello tattycath - of course you can join now. Welcome to you xx

Not sure I'm the best to give advice regarding using the fabric - I have two massive boxes full and at the minute all I do is look at it occasionally and give it loving strokes :)

I'd have a look on pinterest at fabric iteas although be warned you will waste a whole day on there if you are anything like me :)

Would you like me to put you down for a total you want to aim for before buying more stash?

With the amount of fabric and other crafting stuff I have I had better put 50 items before I even look at buying any more stuff please.

well I have made a start :) I made 4 cushion covers with the excess fabric from my ikea curtains that I bought over a year ago!!! I used 4 cushion pads I had in my stash so I now have cushions on my sofa that match my curtains :)

Tomorrow I am going to sort through all my craft items, along with all my cake items(I make cakes too so hoard all cake related stuff :/) and either keep it or sell it

    Total: 8/500

  • Do you have a target figure in mind before you can treat yourself to new stash?

Hmmmn - I think you had best put me down for 50 items. Doesn't sound a lot but it's a good place to start :)

  • I know we're supposed to be reducing our stash but do gadgets count?

I don't know if anyone else has seen the scan'n'cut on a certain craft channel this afternoon but oooooh I want one :D The possibilities are endless

    Sadly it's £400

So not only am I not buying any more stash until I've used up what I've got but any money I make from selling completed items is now going in the 'Brother' pot.:)

Easter bunnies nearly completed, photo soon
