Sewing up of the sweater is to commence later.. I want to cry before I even pock it up.. it is so heavy
I hate the sewing up bit too. I avoid knitting anything with too much sewing up at the end. I'm not sure why because the knitting bit actually takes a lot longer but if someone could design a garment that you can knit all in one piece it would be a winner!
Just starting a crochet blanket to use up a mountain of mixed beige wool that somebody kindly gave me some centuries ago!:rotfl:Stashbusting 2019 - 230/3000

I saw this last week and should have joined then.
I have loads of fabric at home yet today I couldn't resist buying a large bag of fabric pieces for a fiver.
So can I join now please?
And any suggestions for how I can utilise this fabric (from a curtain shop) would be most welcome. TIAGE 36 *MFD may 2043

Hello tattycath - of course you can join now. Welcome to you xx
Not sure I'm the best to give advice regarding using the fabric - I have two massive boxes full and at the minute all I do is look at it occasionally and give it loving strokes
I'd have a look on pinterest at fabric iteas although be warned you will waste a whole day on there if you are anything like me
Would you like me to put you down for a total you want to aim for before buying more stash?Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020

Hmmmn - I think you had best put me down for 50 items. Doesn't sound a lot but it's a good place to start 0 0
