Thanks Kinski those animal pompoms are gorgeous. Not unsurprisingly I have a huge stash of wool that needs using up so I would love to do some of those for my great nephews!Stashbusting 2019 - 230/3000

I would love to make some of the pom pom animals but I'm not artistic in any way, this is the pom pom maker that I've bought to do the rug http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clover-Pom-Pom-Maker-Large-Extra-Large-4-1-2-/221342074083 and this is where I saw the rugs, http://www.instructables.com/id/Pompourri-Rug/, who would have thought you could do so much with the humble pom pom :rotfl:0

Yeah my new printer arrived today - finally!!! This means that I am now able to print out some strange sized photos for both my project life and disney project life albums. This in turn will hopefully mean that I can make a few more of my 2014 things very soon
I've almost finished the title page of my 2014 project life album. I just need to add a couple more embellishments to it and then its done. Hoping to finish it once my little ones are both fast asleep
I have made 50 gift tags today though these were really easy made by simply punching holes in the old Christmas cards and threading some ribbon through. However before this challenge I would have simply gathered them up and dumped them in my craft room never to be seen for at least 4 more Christmas. Now the tags are with all my other Christmas bits and safely put away ready for next year.
So I now have made 60 / 2014Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Hello everyone.
Please can I join in? I have the e.e.c. craft mountain in my home:rotfl::rotfl:
It has now filled the very spacious under stairs cupboard and I have boxes of stuff in the living room and my bedroom. And the dresser in the kitchen that used to contain pots and pans has been emptied to acommodate craft stuff. I curremtly have yards and yards of fabric of all weights plus the interfacing weight to match, threads, patterns, jewellery makng stuff, candle making equipment, enough papercrafting stuff to stock a small regional branch of Hobbbycraft, 4x32 liter storage boxes full of yarn (but I doubt I have enough matching balls to make anything bigger than a babys cardigan) and this is just the stuff that I can remember I've got! Lord only knows whats lurking at the back of the craft cupboard, I haven't been as far as the back since about 2007:eek:
I do a lot of craft fairs and sell online but even so, it's out of order'
For money saving and sanity saving reasons I am determined to use up the bulk of what I've got before I buy any more.So no more until I can at least get it all in the one cupboard (just remembered I've got a side board full as well in the front room)
I work full time so may not be back before the weekend, but by that time I will have some sort of list and or plan to destash.:)0 -
Hi everyone so glad to see/hear what everyone is up to
In a real effort to bust the stash i have bravely cancelled my bi monthly stamping mag as have 2 years worth in file mostly unread but I really needed the free stamp sets!? Not used any of them so going to file all my various mags in month order jan to dec and read in this order so the projects are at least relevant. Hope to read and pull out pages I like put in a file, take out and complete projects from the file. Any remaining in file at end of year.....bin .
I also decided that any papercraft classes ie card and scrap are to be quit until I use stash at home. Why pay for class when so much yummy stash at home. I will miss out on the time with friends but will still see most of them at other non papercraft classes.
Am I brave or mad?0 -
Thought i'd pop up to say i haven't disappeared, and haven't bought anything else (phew!) but i'm working on a cross stitch of my grandparents at the moment so projects are slow going. I have made a pendant this morning though, using a little bit of material i got in the latest CC box. It's a measuring tape with the number 24 on it (my bday so my fav number). So that's now

Havent really made anything this last week as I have been trying to clear the mountain of paperwork we seem to accue. Dont know where it all comes from.
Have painted first coat onto wall word - like it to be properly dry before second goes on - might get to that later today.
I will own up to buying a new storage box for all my gems - the flat back type - I have a very big collection of them. Some will get used when i decorate the guitar but that wont be for a while yet.
Well done to everyone who is keeping up with the challenge, I take my hat off to you!Saving 1 animal wont change the world - but it will change the world for that 1 animal

I want to make some pom poms now
Only problem is I know I have some wool lurking in my stash but I can't currently find it as it must be under one of my million piles of other stash - now which pile shall I try first?
I'm loving my new printer - it was so easy to set up
You will be pleased to know that I have put it to good use. I have printed off lots of strange shaped photos and completed two pages of my project life album and the title page so that's 3 more things to tick off my list of 2014Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020
