Oooh knew I'd forget something
My photos came today and I have managed to get up to date with Project Life. That means I have completed a further 22 pages which I am adding to my total
I'm now over the 900 mark but still not half way yet - whose bright idea was it to go for such a large total? Oh yeah that will be mine
I really have to get going now as I'm determined that I will make my target by the end of this year
On the plus side I haven't bought anything even remotely craft related since my Ikea tripMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
I have been cracking on the this cardy.. I don't like it.. the pattern is BORING!
I REALLY want to buy some wooden things to make pretties for presents/selling for profit... I'm a terrible destasher!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I'm on a roll (for the first time in ages!!!!).
I have sorted out the 6 boxes of craft bits in my dining room (overflow from my craft room) and came across a pile of last years Christmas cards given to me from my mum. I have chopped all of these up and added some ribbon or raffia to each to make 37 lovely Christmas gift tags ready to use in the next few months. I know it is not a massive amount of crafting but it is destashing and I am counting them towards my totalThe old me would have saved them for toppers or a special project but I know that I already have mountains of toppers and the "special project" will never come along so at least they are now gone from stash along with a bit of raffia that I bought ages ago
I have also found room for some of the "craft excess" from the boxes in my craft room now so the destashing must be helping a little bit. I am left with just 3 boxes in the dining room now and two of those are full of bits and bobs to sell - more de-stashing eventually
So the tags now bring my grand total to 949/2014 - its getting closerMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -

Went to take house off market until after Xmas and peeps made offer and it's sold. So trying to sort it all.
I have a craft fair in November promised church way back in summer.
So my makes are to date
Craft wise - did 14 snowman soups
22 candycane reindeer, Santa's and snowmen
10 hugs and kisses
20 pieces of jewellery

And lots more craft I can't remember. Some I photographed for my blog but that's neglected too :-(
Also made a 200 bricks with air drying clay

And sea for the boat out of modelling paste and clear acrylic
And sold over 100 craft items on eBay

It's a pleasure susan42 - I'm so glad I'm helping other crafters as well - and a massive well done on reaching your target - you've proved to me it can be done
I've just quickly popped to your blog and I'm loving all your Christmas makes - a massive round of applause from me
Congratulations on selling the house as well
It sounds like you need to set yourself a new stash busting total challenge (if only to keep me motivated!) I'm so glad I'm not the only one who just seems to like craft for the stash buyingMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Hi folks
Have added to my stash (sorry)
Had a splendid day at K&S show yesterday, stuck almost to my list - well jelly rolls were £22 each or £40 for 2 so it would be rude not to wouldn't it! Plus fabric for borders and some 5" fabric strips which looked useful
Also got a new larger cutting board & ruler which was fun on the bus and train going home, and some 505 spray, and curved pins. Let the fun begin
I'm in awe at what some of you manage to make, where do you find the time?

Glad you had a good day at the show rosyq and obviously you have to buy things when you go to somewhere like that if not what's the point in going
Well the kids have been sorting out their toys today and have decided that they are going to sell two large plastic tubs full to raise some spending money for holiday next year
I am now feeling suitably shamed and have decided that I too must try and sell some of my excess crafting stash (and there is a lot) to raise some spending money for me
I have decided to start with my craft CD's as the original two large CD units I bought for my craft room are full to busting and the pile is growing of all the extra ones which just won't fit inI love crafting with CD's but know that I have some in the stands which I have never used and having now bought a printer which does not like printing onto cardstock I have to start being realistic
I am hoping to sort out at least 20 to sell to start off with and think I will start with some of my Debbi Moore ones. I love her CD's but have to admit that I hardly ever use them
NO actual crafting done again today though (unless looking at Pinterest and drooling over beautiful craft rooms countsMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
What lovely things you are all making!
After I finished my shawl I ground to a halt with my crochet as my hand was just too uncomfortable. Now I am suitably rested and still chewing over what to make next. I have a project on the go but it is simple and good to take out and about so I think I will keep it for that purpose and choose something new to work on at home.
The problem is finding project stat I want to complete with my current stash. When I see new projects the yarn I have never seems to be right but I need to get it down in volume!!!Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I hope you are all having a good day...
Been a bit of a mixed one for me as the washing machine has died it's final death today - but I have made my vintage style Halloween bunting. It looked really good - and then I threw tea all over it... Doesn't look as pretty now - but I knew that would happen... I did intentionally use stained lace - so it was never going to be saved the tea treatment but I haven't been able to grate it...
I have decided to make some 'autumn' style bunting for when I take this down after Halloween - and then some Christmas bunting...
Haha - I'll add them to the list.
I've taken some pics of the quilt, craft room chair and the bunting pre tea- but cannot find the camera flex so they will have to wait for upload...
Tomorrow night I have to finish scouring the dresser. It seems to be the never ending job... I WILL get this finished... haha
good luck to you all.
