    Hi folks
I think I'm in this thread under false pretences as I fully intend to go to the Knitting & Stitching show at Ally Pally this weekend and buy lots of fabric :o
Well I need to make quilts for people for C...mas!
So I'm sorry, I don't think I'm ready for stash busting yet, my stash isn't big enough :o
Thanks for having me, I've loved looking at everyone's makes :)

    Dont leave us rosyq :(

It doesnt matter how big or small your crafting stash is you are always welcome on this thread :)

I dont want people to feel they cant buy anymore stash ever (especially if you have a use in mind for it like you). This thread is designed to just make you stop and think about using the stash you have before buying more. I know it is helping me and I love reading about and seeing evetybodys creations.

I would love you to stay (even if you truly dont do stashbusting) :)

Oh rosy, if you've read this thread you'll know I'm always "lapsing" and buying something. A little stash has a habit of growing too!

I did use up a teeny tiny amount today, making a card for my grandson's birthday. He loves the Lego Movie so I stole an idea from joanne@thecraftyowl.co.uk to make this card.

    I love this!! How clever.

I have finally made it back after another period of poor health. I have been crafting today and have been trying out ideas for christmas cards I can mass produce easily. This is what i decided on.

many, many apologies for my absence yet again, my health has taken a turn again - I'm suffering with whooping cough and that combined with recovering from my heart attack has meant I've haven't had the energy or motivation - but today inbetween bouts of coughing and extreme sickness I've managed 4 items and I am thrilled to be back and up and running :rotfl:(metaphorically not literally)

1 x scrabble name frame (a few more coats of varnish as its for a memorial)
    1 x rag wreath
    2 x poker chip/scrabble frames

    4 pics from facebook:

Right, off to bed now and will catch up on the thread tomorrow. Good night all, and ......

    Keep Crafting :T

Ziggy, my daughter had whooping cough when she had her little boy 2 years ago.. he caught it from her.. it is called 100 day cough for a reason! theirs both stopped 100 days to the day just about! but just what you need on top of the heart attack.. Glad you're on the mend though.. but take it easy!!

I wondered if anyone here would be interested in this pattern before I throw it on ebay? £6 all in Brand new uncut.

Oh, ziggy, so sorry to hear about your whooping cough. Glad you're recovering. Your makes are lovely. I especially like the wreath.

    I'm sorry - I lapsed again!

There was on offer on Crafter's Companion -
We have an overstock of both the Father Christmas kit (RRP £14.99) and The Snowman™ and The Snowdog kit (RRP £24.99). So, we’re offering you both kits for just £14.99 - that’s a saving of 62%

I've fancied these for ages, so I couldn't resist. I'll put myself on the naughty step.

Oh you are nice, I'd love to stay, thanks :)
I love seeing what other people are making, the cards are brilliant. My cousin's son loves Lego, I wonder if I could do something similar? Hmm maybe I'd better stick to fabric for now, I only have room for one stash!

    Hi all,

ems, greentiger and ziggy - love all your makes - you really are a very talented bunch :) Keep up your brilliant work :)

nina and ziggy - hope you are both feeling better soon :)

pigpen - well done on managing to destash some of your patterns. I wouldlove them but haven't picked up a needle for ages so I must be good - for now at ,least :)

rosyq - glad your not leaving. All of us are naughty and buy things but on here you will always be forgiven :) Be careful I started out with just card making stash and then it started growing to cardmaking, scrapbooking, fabric, beads etc :)

Keep up the stashbusting work everyone :)
