I don't see anyone making a fuss except you!
A lot of people have not received their vouchers and are simply recording the events for the help of others, I see no "carry on", I see people giving good level headed advice, something you might like to take on board before making such rude comments..0 -
My card and vouchers arrived today. Didn't take long
Received vouchers up to October 2014. Very happy with that for free. Woooo0 -
Despite being email on 4th May to say the vouchers had been dispatched, I have still not received them. A friend got hers some time ago. Anyone else still waiting?0

I got mine today, with vouchers until october, and it's been 2? weeks. I shop with JL for preference when price is matched precisely because I've always found their customer service exemplary: I've had the odd delivery or product problem which has always been rectified without fuss.:AA/give up smoking (done)0

The problems people might be having with the vouchers stems from the fact that the response to the vouchers has been completely overwhelming. We're talking along the lines of if they were expecting 5 people to sign up, they're actually getting 20. Add a couple of zeroes to the end of that and that's how many vouchers one place to eat will get over one quiet weekend. At the minute they're still catching up with the massive response they've had. They're well aware that the vouchers are causing queues but there's no quick solution. Every place to eat basically needs another kitchen, a hundred teapots & plates, another pot washing area and cake counter just to cope with the traffic from the vouchers.
I have advice. It's up to individuals if they want to take it.- Please don't take your frustrations out on the catering staff. They only accept the vouchers, they don't have anything to do with how they're issued or what can be accepted. It's not pleasant being treated like dirt for not being able to accept March's vouchers or not knowing if you'll be sent more. If you have questions, you're better off ringing the phone number.
- All the tills have the same drinks machines. The only difference is what food they're equipped to display. So once you've got your cake, have a look to see if there's a shorter queue somewhere else. If a member of staff points this out, they're just trying to get you through the tills quicker.
- Be prepared. Have your vouchers and payment ready. It's amazing how many people queue for five minutes, get to the tills and then get out their bundle of vouchers and then count out their cash.
- Do you really need to take a centimetre thick wad of napkins, an entire handful of milk cartons and 6 portions of butter for one tea and scone? The time it takes the cashier to replace them every 30 minutes could be spent putting other people through the till. The amount of unused napkins that has to be thrown away is shocking.
- It's fine if you want to take your cake & drink away, have two plates or an extra cup & pot of hot water. You only have to ask nicely. Staff notice a smile more than they notice anybody sneaking cake into their handbag

Received 6 vouchers today, was only expecting 3 as this was my second batch. We have spent a lot in JL recently, bought an Ipod, Kindle and a laptop so wonder if that has anything to do with it. OH signed up last month and received his first batch today as well.0

I don't think it is; others have posted here that they've not spent anything or just forgot to show their card and ended up with 6 vouchers whilst others have shopped a lot and got 3 vouchers.
As long as everyone gets their next set in time, there probably isn't anything to worry about. I think JL must know their customers well and I doubt they'd knowingly let things slide and not send the next vouchers in time!0
