Aldi don't want to pay credit card fees but they happily pay someone a huge salary to manage car parking charges complaints.
They got their priorities right.0 -

I heard Aldi refuse to take cheques in England as well?
Do you know if they take cheques in Berwick Upon Tweed?

Aldi don't want to accept credit cards because they want to maximise their profits! They charge for the use of debit cards as well if they thought they'd get away with it!
Meanwhile, I see Aldi have declined debit cards on more than one occasion but still actually took the charge in full from the persons bank account and then denied it was their fault. Of course, they embarrassed the customer and forced them to go to an ATM to withdraw funds before they could have their shopping!0 -

Actually, their website does:
"Aldi stores accept cash, Maestro, Delta, Solo and Electron card only. Visa and Master Card credit cards are accepted in Scottish and selected Welsh stores only. In line with many other retailers we no longer accept cheques in store."0 -

Posting #533 on page 27 shows a picture of the cards Aldi accept
These cards form the only list on the Aldi website
If the picture on your card is not on the in store signs, and the name on the picture on your card is not on the the in store sign, and if the picture on your card or the name on the picture on your card is not on the only list. on the Aldi website how do you know that they will be accepted please ?0
