Ignore the other supermarkets, Aldi have confirmed that if you complain you get gift vouchers, so I think we should all complain about the horrible signage of available payment options, then we can go down and do some christmas shopping. I'm guessing they'll be changing the signs pretty soon after that.
Or maybe there thoughts were more like "Tell him we'll send him a £30 voucher if he agrees to stop phoning us".0 -

Is an assurance from Aldi that it is on its way 12 days ago and after 2 store visits this last week to enquire about it, enough to suggest it will arrive?0 -

I do wonder if something was said as a joke eg "what do you expect, £30 in vouchers" and the op thinks they really meant they'd send £30 of vouchers.
I just otherwise don't buy someone getting £30 of vouchers just because they complained that Aldi don't take credit cards.0 -

Same here, and don't forget the disrespect and insults towards them on a public forum0 -
The issues wasnt about Aldis geographical bias on accepting Credit Cards regarding the £30 Voucher , it was a number of things.0

I don't see any mention of gift vouchers being an acceptable payment method in Aldi. Therefore even if you did receive a voucher, you wouldn't be able to spend it.0
