Two store managers an assistant store manager an area manager the customer service manager 2 corporate logistics officials, all agree with me.

These are Just employees, if they openly agree with you then they could risk their jobs, you do know that all decisions ( including the CC deployment) will come from Corporate HQ in Germany

Yes, and these have to be before local authorities will allow them to open stores as things like safety policies are checked by local police, fire services and HSE Executives

I agree Aldi regard them as just employees

CC deployment is decided by Bathgate Scotland regionf or Credit Card acceptance in Scotland and Berwick Upon Tweed in England and Swindon Wiltshire England region for use in parts of South Wales. The other 5 regions have banned their acceptance.

they are not trying to compete with the big 4 supermarkets and never will, do you think it they started taking CC in England they will suddenly be a big threat to Tesco, Asda, Morrisons or Sainsbury. THINK AGAIN

Their is no law saying unions need to see these before a store can be granted to open. Not sure if they allow unions, as their is nothing to say they have to offer union memberships

Aldi sales are up something like 30% over the past couple of years.

They have also won Which? supermarket of the year for the past 2 years.

I'm surprised they are not trying to compete or take market share from other supermarkets ?

Look at your copy of which to see the criteria !!!

Which now know Aldi do not accept Credit Cards except in Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed in England.
