Aldi needs a reshuffle
They are dealing from the bottom of the pack of a list of more succesful Supermarkets.
That's right, Aldi really are in trouble, sales up 21% a year.:rotfl:
(Edit: that was in September; October 31% up)earthstorm wrote: »they are not trying to compete with the big 4 supermarkets and never will,....

The card machines in my local Aldi weren't working for a while yesterday. Given what I've read in this thread, I was wondering if this could have been considered sufficient an emergency to dial 999?!Stompa0

Aldi and Lidl are DISCOUNT supermarkets, so are after different sectors of the market that the big 4

out of the list of 22 supermarket chains in the Uk
Aldi are 8th with 3.6% of market share with Lidl 9th with 3% of market share.
nearest big 4 is Morrisons at 4th with 11.6%, so they have a long way to go if they want to compete, taking CC in all England stores will not make their market share jump.0 -

Look at your copy of which to see the criteria !!!
yes it is Which members that rate supermarkets
http://www.which.co.uk/news/2013/02/best-and-worst-supermarkets-revealed-by-which-311258/How we rate supermarkets
Our supermarket survey asked 11,492 Which? members in October 2012 about the supermarkets they've shopped at over the last six months. Each was rated for customer service, filling your trolley, fresh produce quality, pricing and store environment.
The ‘filling your trolley’ rating covered product range, how easy it is to find items and how likely they are to be in stock. While the pricing rating covers value for money and special offers.
The overall customer score is a combination of customer satisfaction and the likelihood they’d recommend it to a friend.0 -
