I'm sure they do (it's probably about 3% per transaction) and that is why they have decided not to use it.
I think for a global company Like Aldi 3% is far too high and very negotiable.
Will the cost of accepting Credit Cards be the same for Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed ? Surely if the prices of goods in Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed are the same as the price of the other areas then why not negotiate the same deal as Scotland parts of South Wales and Berwick Upon Tweed regions ? It makes good business sense to do this Aldi.0 -

The do have a business model of not accepting CC in ENGLAND so they can keep cost down.
staying NO frills, so they dont have all the fancy shelves etc., run on min. staff levels, so keeping overheads down, which reflects in lower prices for customers.
