You and the Banks DON'T own Aldi, so cant force them to accept Credit Cards or any form of payment.

You think that because you want to use a CC at a store then that store MUST accept them. I think you seriously need help.

You are correct I do not own Aldi, as far as the Banks im not sure ?

I would like to point out the lack of credible credit card an debit card policy at Aldi.

Yes they do - i paid for my £30 shop with a £50 note and they gave me £20 cash back. They have a technical name for it "change"

I'm an Aldi customer and I say they shouldn't accept credit cards.

Customers therefore are NOT always right as it's physically impossible for us both to be right.

And their credit card policy is perfectly credible, it merely doesn't suit you. Big difference.

so you would rather see a 30ft by 30ft sign outside ALL retailers telling customer what payment methods they take and what payment methods they dont take

Somewhere that accepts £50 notes - that's a rarity, or have policies changed sinced the newer note? Was it an English note or a Scottish one?
    Keeping my trotters warm
  • Saying that the customer is always right is old hat. It does not apply in todays retail environment.

Perhaps that ought to be mandatory - a bit like prices on gas station forecourts. Saves you driving into the parking lot and discovering they don't take CCs

Customers are not always right all of the time.

Were you aware that 50% of the population are of below average intelligence? A shocking statistic.

    The council should do something.
