Third load out of machine, dog bedding in the machine (how often do you do yours?)

Living room is at the 'looking slightly worse' stage.

    DD up and watered.

Off to find the noisy sucky thing that rhymes with bison.

Time for some indoor mowing I fear.

That's all hard stuff too Buffy!

Ironing - hmm I'm not a fan but today I will for charity as some of my posh frocks require it.

And, if it makes you feel better I have also been wittering on the food bloglet about me local chippy......

Well it was either mess about writing nonsense or actually switching on the indoor mower before I'd built myself up to it.
    :rotfl::rotfl:

ETA I should add I earn no money from either bloglets and just enjoy writing the links are merely my enthusiastic sharing of blethers rather than any mad media campaign to get myself on the telly. Honest injun, I'm hoping they don't offend, if they do please ignore. :D

I have far too many words and a generally empty hoose of ears wha'll listen.

So I'm losing it slightly with distracting myself pottering aimlessly so I need a list.

    Machine back on
Living room mowed, time for the hall/downstairs officey room
Kitchen to tidy and clean up
Fridge to 'declutter' and audit and freeze anything that's looking a bit on the fragile tired side
Meal plan to revisit and write
    down stairs bathroom to clean
Upstairs one if I get desperate
Dogs to walk somewhere in the sunshine :D this may take priority
Clothes to iron for event tonight
Car to clear out to take in 2 vols and save thier petrol
Garage needs a look but is dusty - this might wait until tomorrow
Hair to revisit with some actual colour - looking a tad like my mother atm need sort that pronto!
    Pal to call
Shower - prob before go out and after scamps

Banks to check no real changes except CB in
Ponder to buy flowers as instructed by OH or put to CC's (he's kill me so prob best not say)
Wood to fill up baskets, kindles in
Check garage wood and maybe do some more when cleaning garage there's still a fair bit to chop I think
Arrange time for guy come look at campervan spares.

That will do for the now - mostly NON moneysaving but its helping the greater scheme of things.

Must see if ANYWHERE in town has stardrops yet - I'm oot unless htere's a cheeky bottle in Darwin - must pop into him and check.

Toast went down a treat thanks ;)

Doglets are fine, been a lovely day so they had a long walk or two :) Bedding gets washed when it gets whiffy, more in the winter (era de wet doggy), less in summer :)

  • Thwanks maty about the same here - :-)

Wowser I'm tired and just in - great event, not only did I declutter 40 items of clothes (10 frocks, 8 skirts and a few tops/jeans)'who'd have known I had so many unused frocks.

I *boffs knuckles on shirt* did not bring anything home......:D

And I rehomed a bookcase to be picked up through the week.

Time for bed ow I think

    :-)

    Nigh chaps

  • Morning world!

Time for a bit of meal planning for the week and a plan to go with it

    Yes I HATE meal planning
    Does it work - YES

Will it work better if I tie it in with this weeks work/DD schedule yes

Off to the fridge/calendar etc I go.

    Hope you're all good today!

    :)

    Must revisit my list too.

Still mulling stuff of a food related nature.

and including lunches into the mix this week.........you see I'm growing up. :D

Great chat to RG this am he's off to a gig in the capital later on and having a guitar lesson.

Thought about trying to have a sneaky weekend meet up but I don't know about spending looking at a bus/ferry option to meet up with him for a night, but we're both mindful of my credit card busting. And with NO travel this month, the spends aren't nearly as bad so its a compromise between having a wee bit of fun now or waiting for a while and not having those big spends for some time away. PONDERS.

Also adding up DD driving lessons between now and test to have a sit down think and a chat with her dad at £60 a week I can't sustain them. Then again, I didn't start her on this journey.......so a VERY difficult call with the ex later I fear. I'm supportive but I wouldn't have pushed her into it this early and in such an expensive place/limited driving experience learning ground. Driving here is NOT like the mainland and I want her equipped for all situations. (Sorry if that offends anyone.......its just my opinion)

    Updated the spreadsheets and spends

Must do timesheet for learning factory and might do a couple hours today marking too. When that lands it can go to the cards. Should be about the same as last month.

I'm also thinking of doing a fb sale or a carboot to try and get some pennies in too.

I could go back to ebaying but TBH I think whilst that's a good idea it might be more doable once I'm down south at OH's.

Folks 'babysitting piano' offered to pay half the cost to shift it to theirs. (£125+vat) but writing a list for the whole move and costing DIY or the movers doing everything AND the piano as they're going two streets away from each other. Van hire is cheap but the ferry's etc add it up to over £300-400 for a weekend hire/drive and drive back.

    Ponders.

Bright and dry meeting a chum later for a scamp and do have to tackle the garage........woods low and garage is strewn with wood to chop which once is done I can get to the bits I can rehome.........

    The joys.

    97 days and counting.........

ETA contacted landlady by text and given notice - I might see if she wants some of the bigger furniture (?) - also need to check out 'use the deposit as your last months rent' thing we said would work at the beginning is still OK as that means only 2 months rent if that's the case and that's 480 that can go to the cards at the start of May............
