  • So that's ALL the books (in the living room) packed.

The book case is empty and I've messaged a photo of it to a chum.

    So that's progress.

Even convinced Mr RG that flowers would be nice for our anniversary so I've money in my account to blow :)

Another load of clothes hung up - I should be able to 'rehome' 20 items tomorrow all going well. Mostly frocks, who knew I had so many.

    :D

I did think about looking through the wellington boots, but there's only SO much a girl will do for charity.

and there's only 8 pairs here anyway, its not enough to share.

Two speeds me - stop and go. :D

:) I'm sure Darwin will find a nice home, I've not the time nor the money to sustain him and to be honest I'd rather be creating my own beautiful edible garden and adventuring with RG and the mutlets

  • Ay up Pipster - you're doing brilliantly on the re-homing of quality objects with added cash raising too :T

I have to say, I agree with the passing on of Darwin to someone else to enjoy/love/adventurise in. You can always buy another if adventurising with your RG requires it. Although I suspect RG's only travel in those great big huge motorhomes where the sides expand out into separate 'wings' - all the F1 and MotoGP drivers/riders have them.....I'd suspect they are pretty 'de rigueur' for Rock Gods too :rotfl:

Thank goodness you did the decent thing and supported a local fledgling business! Bravo - I wonder how much of that £1 stays in the local economy? A pretty high percentage I'd reckon.

Have a good day 'swishing' :D

Swaps *buttered* :D toast for a bit of soda bread and I'm an accumulator normally but am trying REALLY hard.

However the RG reckons at this rate I'll be leaving with a spotted hankerchief and two hounds. I have assured him I'm 'not getting rid of everything' but his house is already quite full.

OK mainly of RG equipment and guitars and bikes but there is furniture in there too. :rotfl:

Lobs - hope the houndlets are well.

Still NO coffee - must recity it soon, bemused by sunshine I walked the dogs first then got the stuff out the garage and the hoose that's being picked up later. Whilst the suns now hiding I'm hoping that the rain abaits although a wee wash off of the stuff out there wouldn't do any harm to shew off the rest of the dust.

Machine is on and a whirring

    Kettle will be on shortly

Living room to clean - done the bookshelf and taken a photo again as last nights was a bit 'mood' for seeing it properly.

Will tackle that and the kitchen first then seize the day and all that with other 'tasks'

Quote for my fixing of my lovely (Orkney) chair came back at 30 if its not to bad or "£220 if it needs a whole new back. as its a specialist kinda thing, its here that's going to be where its fixed so that needs to be soon. I'd be gutted if I ever lost it or broke it. And its a real craft so that's what those kinda things cost I think

Greying think of all the £1's I'd keep in the economy if its (hopefully) somewhere near the start of that quote.....) :D

I'm rather attached to that chair, as is the older puplet.

Taking it for inspection on Monday. So if I do sell anything it might be to fix me old (older than the hills actually) trusty chair that I use in the kitchen for me morning cuppa.

    And speaking of cuppa's

  • Aw bless RG has offered to pay for me chair to be fixed.

(I am secretly wondering if there's another guitar hatched and I haven't been invited to the naming ceremony yet.......;))
