  • Hey there
Warmi up after a squally walk.

Spoke to mr RG and he prescribed flowers.

Nice man I have a lovey bunch tulips on the table.

Got lots of the inside stuff done and figure I'd move more productive doing the 'inside stuff' rather than gettingn mucky and

    (I can't believe I'm saying this outloud)

I'm not in the mood to get manky!

Sshh don't let on, I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow!

So paperwork and sofa for me. See how much more of that daft list

Tea's in oven with A pie too.

    Best go check on it.

  • Ps I have 22.32 left of my £100 food money. Not great but we will see how much more I can blow of it.

Can I make it last to the end of the month - hmmmmm not sure.

I guess as much as I'd like monthly £100 food/pet spends/toiletries maybe it's just it realistic?

Yay to DD passing her theory. Well done :j

Also :j to new sewing machine. I wonder if it's similar to mine? Will have to see if I can post a piccy. Have to say though that singers are fabby. Such workhorses. I have two and the youngest is 60years old :rotfl: I would recommend you get it serviced, however, that can cost about £60+ unless you know of anyone?

I would wipe it clean and using a small brush (kiddy toothbrush, small paint brush) clean out the bits you can see. You want to make sure here is no dust anywhere. Check the bobbin house too. Change the needle too as nothing spoils stitching as easily as a blunt needle.

Any help you need, you know where I am x

  • Stripes my lovely, that's not a list that's a novel...really. If it's brain-dumping that's fine, but if you're actually expecting yourself to get through a list that size then do try to remember there are only 24 hours in a day and only one of you to fill them! xx

(That said though, great progress on it lady - impressive stuff!) :D:T

  • Hey up all

Most of indoor list completed last night (progress halted when sofa and fire got me cornered.)

Got a fair bit to do today - and wriggling through the paperwork that I can as I get to it.

Off out for a walk/poster put up/deliver stuff in a bit (petrol expensed)

    Hope you're all good

Thanks for the fond wishes. Starnac - there's a lady here who does them for a wee donation so I'll get in touch with her.

EH - I'm not a fan of 24 hours in each day - I WANT MORE!!

KC not manky yet - but I didn't shower today (you're all far enough away not to notice) and I'll tackle some of the garage tonight.

    :)

    Have a good un.

    Meals from stores later
    Banks to check
All the usual money saving malarkay

    :)

    Have a good un.

    Evening all.

    I hope you're good.

Would have had a NSD aside a parcel (planned for) but I FORGOT MY LUNCH and being the gannet I am had to buy a sandwich in the canteen at the learning factory.

£1.55 reasonable enough i guess aside a loaf costing that. So bloody cross with myself.

Needless to say tea was from the stores which I did remember.

All in all sunshine, petrol expensed day, 4.2 mile dog walk, did a relatively coherent (well maybe not but the editing is good) interview for radio (I hate them but hey ho its work) and managed to get the other bits on my indoor part of the list done packed up the dvds into a box (? just felt like it) and rehomed a shelf which the dvds were on, to womble land from whence it came - so someone else can get the use of it. Oh and I finalised my references......

    You know, just in case.

  • CV updated, things drafted meeting a chum tomorrow who does this kind of stuff (careers person) for a living so she's offered to help too.

Pays to have some proper help and I've offered to swap her for some gardening advice at her patch - always good to do a bit of barter.
