Morning Lands
By some cruel mix up on the calendars I'm working today - on the other hand gives Mr and Mrs EH some 'romance' time
Few spends yesterday
boat (can expense so shhh, that's a no spend, as I have a 'client' over there)
Chocolate for chum came from vouchers
Cheese 2.01
Bits from Mr T with vouchers off came to 1.50
So an extra 3.51 on the food spends.
Last night we had chipsso I must repay EH my 4.50 from treats budget.
We had a super day dashing off on islands and saw lots of wee birds including a swallow, owl (SE), wheatear, reed bunting, black gillemots, razorbills and lots of lambs (which I know aren't birds but are super cute).
Must update banks etc
Spoke to the 'tother parental yesterday - not as hideous as expected - aside the 'you left some garbled nonsensical message on our phone......' start to the conversation.
Firstly I always prefer - Good Morning, or a hello how are you today as a greeting. (Manners after all, cost nothing)
Secondly - Garbled nonsensical is how I live my lifeand I'm happy to share the love
DD is indeed heading off to the lands of NZ at the end of May and a few jaunts beforehand so at least now I can make a sembelance of a plan. It also gives me time to gather stamps up and post her to her next destination.
Coffee, Banks, make lunch etc
You know the drill.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Good Morning Dear Heart! :hello:
Greying
Pounds for Panes £7,305/£10,000 - start date Dec 2023
Grocery Spend August 2025 £49.79/£300
Non-food spend August 2025 £3.75/£50
Bulk Fund August 2025 £0/£100 -
So banks are OK - almost empty but OK.
-1008.11 Captain card
-1229.5 Lucifer card
-2787.61 total debt
-2237.61 credit card debt
Those sharp nosed of you will notice the Captain card has crept up - interest - bah. And the lucifer one shows the wine money taken off.
It makes my heart sink a bit to see the interest but I know that's the point of managing them properly so you don't pay any.
One day this old dog will learn new tricks.
Still overall plodding in the right direction.
FOOD SPENDS - still gloriously under budget at 27.45+3.51 (fingers and toes being used here) 31.16
Helped by some free eggs yesterday
And nice houseguests who not only buy thier own chips and beer - they don't complain at the odds and sods of jars/bread that's put down to them either.
And they bring cheese and marmalade

NZ? Wow that'll be costly in stamps. Hope other parental will help with postage costs? I'll keep my eye out for DD sized boxes for you
Wow you saw loads of pretty birds yesterday. Sounds like you had a lovely day. :rotfl: at you giving the EH's "romantical time"Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Oh my :j well I had to catch up here first, didn't I, after your lovely texts and all :kisses3: Absolutely loving the sound of all the decluttering and the future planning - sadly, I have no clue at all how much money I spend on food each month - the food receipts are all in one bag per tax year, I *could* work it out - I'm trying to keep a spreadsheet this year, though the lurgy has rather interrupted that (but I could catch up, I think :j).
Anyway, I'm chuffed to see it all going so splendiferously. Have a lovely, lovely Easter xxx2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
