probably one of the few high schools in the UK doing 'navigation' for a course at school like PE
Ponders boat options.............:D
I'm seriously going to look at the quote and also RM or Parcel force I don't mind moving myself in bits
Ah DH used to do it for a living. I did sailing as part of my degree but not the open water bit. How cool to be able to do it in PE though!!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Me too mooomin!
Wasn't it dreadful being dragged around the hall by a boy who didnt want to look at you never mind hold your hand - or was that just MY experience??
New idea - lash stuff together with bailer twine. Launch in general direction of 'sooth' - with self and mutts on top steering as best we can
We'll end up 'somewhere'Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

How about we round up all the dingys we can find. Tie them with ropes. Set the one off "sooth" and keep adding dingys til we have a bridge all the way to the mainland. Then one person on each dingy passing your stuff to the next like a giant pass the parcel game??
Sounds doableGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Sounds perfect. I think though we should wait for a calm day its not far to the mainland so a wee bridge of dinghy's would do
Great idea.
I'm squealling with delight here, not only does the local 'castle by the wee hoose have the Scottish RHUBARB collection (its true) - there's a cheese factory/shop/cafe just beside the new house (well near).

Did some food shopping mainly topping up dug fud etc and toiletries.
After vouchers came to 36p
Man giggled as he gave me a voucher for £5 off a £40 shop (never use that I don't think) and a cash voucher for £1.51 off next shop.
Gotta love mse.
OK I did use some vouchers but right now my cash is more precious to me.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Thurso High does navigation as well, or used to - Mr Minx says it was one of his favourite classes
According to the gossip in the post office (one of the SSE chaps working on Strathy wind farm was in), someone hit the wrong switch (literally!) at Beauly last night and it's going to cost the company a fortune because they get fined per minute for every minute the power's off over half an hour!
Mr & Mrs EH should be most of the way across the Firth now0 -
