I promise!
Although not when getting up to take DD to airport on Sat - be far too early at silly o clock.
Last rent payment in bank - goes out on Monday.
And, I've about 5p left in both od's I have to put this trip on CC's unfortunately. Ce'st la vie
(not quite but you know the feeling until the wages clear)
When I'm' doon by and settled with that TRG of mine, mind on and tell me to pay off the od's.
Wouldn't that be something.
For now we're grateful for a cosy house, food in the cupboards and folks who smile at our nonsense.

Pippi I'm so excited for you. You deserve sooooo much happiness, which I know TRG will provide for you. Don't stress too much about work. Relationships/joint households are a partnership and both partners bring different skills/qualities to it.
Oh and enjoy your trip!!!Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Morning universe (well I think it's morning, it's silly I clock).
Up and atam for dd to go to hairyplane and join her dad and the gang for the holidays.
Arrived safe and sound late last night, having stopped for a rather dark stop int the wellifest woodland on the way him. Lucky trg (who by days is a mountain biking fiend) had his night riding lights so we went a strolling with mutts and dd's and was nice to go and walk there again.
Ok so down on about 30 petrol :-) I love me wee car.
Random 'island girl adjusting to the mainland question......' no 2
So, now can any of you clever types tell me why the petrol pump at mr T gave me the option of 8p/litre off the joint family cc card?
Of course I took it but no clue why I was offered it...........we don't have petrol at our shop at home.
Aside petrol no spends down the road, picnic supper too.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

No idea about the Tesco petrol thing, sorry! My nearest petrol station is a Sainsbugs one, so I normally pop to the Sainsbugs across the road to collect something I need first in the hope of pennies off per litre or double Nectar points. I got a double points coupon one yesterday
There's a Tesco promotion on at the moment where for every £50 you spend you get pennies off litres of fuel. I don't know if that has anything to do with your discount - a big shop last time you were on the mainland maybe?0 -
Glad its all going to plan so far, Pippi
No idea either on the Tesco thing, tho I'd be careful that you haven't inadvertently signed up to something - trainline did that a while back, to claim a £10 voucher you signed up to a website that charged you £6 a month!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hiya... The Tesco fuel thing... tis kosher!! everytime you use your clubcard in the shop, once you have reached £50 - and it doesnt have to be in one transaction - all the little ones add up - you then get 1p of a litre of fuel - you can save them up until a maximum of 20p off a litre
I was very happy to get 8p off a litre the other day when filled up with £75!!!

That sounds excellent!
