Im still waiting for my decision but I got assigned the adjudicator who you don't want based on the T+C's cancellation attempts. Im not feeling hopeful either.
Best of luck mate. I guess at worst you have to go to Small Claims Court? Ideally, none of us wants to do that though because it's more faffing around and more delays.0 -
Me neither I have RS - the longer it goes on the more painful it gets waiting!!
Thinking positive though, it clearly doesn't take them long to review the cases though given the speed others have had their decisions, so maybe our adjudicators are just on holiday or tied up doing other things at the moment and haven't got round to reviewing the cases yet.
hope you on the mend RC!!
I've had the delay due to T-Mob contract versions mix-up and then the other day I got an email saying they'd swapped from a Mr D.S. to a Ms C.O - Guess he was busy / sick / holiday perhaps. But I'm fingers crossed for a result by the end of the month!0 -
on 2nd June I was assigned Ms Vju Obi as my adjudicator.
Due unforseen circumstances on 11 June got Ms Alison Dablin as substitute adjudicator.
Not heard anything and no time scale on 11 June e-mail so maybe another 3 weeks.0 -

I had Ms. Uju Obi originally (22nd May) and then got reassigned my adjudicator on the 5th of June. I got my result today. So slightly outside the initial 3 week window, but not much.
I hope you hear soon!0 -
Received my decision today, brilliant news...
I direct that the company shall cancel the customer’s contract with effect from 24 April 2014, without applying a penalty for doing so, and issue a PAC. All charges incurred on the customer’s account from 24 April 2014 onwards shall be waived, and any payments made by the customer in respect of the waived charges shall be refunded. The company shall also apologise, and pay the customer the sum of £75.00 in compensation.
I love the part where they make EE apologise to me. Get on your knees!
The part I didn't win was the request for my phone to be unlocked. CISAS don't feel EE are obliged to provide this.
Many thanks RC, without you I would still be chugging along with EE for another 12 months. Get well soon.
Quick question for you - I am due to go on holiday to Tunisia for the last 2 weeks of July. Will I be alright to run up a bill (ie. exceed my data allowance) and it still get waived by EE from this ruling? Want to sting them even more if I can.0 -
RandomCurve wrote: »Thank you for your email. However all you have done is explain what the contract terms are, whereas my email request is for a penalty free cancelation under GC 9.6. I therefore find your response falls short of the service standard expected as it deliberately ignores the General Conditions of Entitlement, which govern our contract. Does Vodafone believe it is not subject to Ofcom regulation?
For the THIRD time of asking can you please fully address all of the points in my original email and confirm if Vodafone is still of the opinion that I am not entitled to a penalty free cancellation. Additionally please confirm that Vodafone contracts are governed by Ofcom's General Conditions of Entitlement
Thanks again! :T
Have sent the response, and will keep you updated.0 -

Cancel the contract backdated to 15th May, PAC Code and £25 Compo.
I am very happy with that.
Thank You RC
You mentioned earlier you had the same adjudicator as me, just wondering if you stuck to using all the templates supplied by RC? Hopefully I'll get the same result!0 -
Adjudicator has been assigned today, a Miss V.O. A quick search about her has been positive towards the customer so fingers crossed. Three weeks is a bit of a pain to wait, but if all goes well it'll be roughly £500 worth of contract that I won't have to pay.0

Anyone else on here had Mr M M?
I've been waiting since the 6th now0 -
