  • Quick question for anyone who have already gone through with CISAS - do you get someone assigned to the case AFTER EE's response or before? I've been told EE are given till 25th of July to respond but no one was assigned for the case. Should I expect EE to reject, provide a very strong defense and then CISAS to rule against me? Do I need to appeal or do I have to write back after EE's response?

Do we have anything that RC has prepared for you guys earlier or is this generally tailor-made case by case individually?

After, you put in the claim, they respond with their defence, you comment on their defence then an adjudicator is appointed.

You will be sent a copy of EEs defence and then have a few days to comment on it - use the templates provided here by RC. Specifically the latest template for comments (browse backwards through this thread.)

Thanks a lot! I read last few pages again and seems mostly after EE's defense and our comments, we've lost the cases? Our current response/comment is about GC9.6 that has given most wins right? or is it T&Cs?

So, after getting out of my EE contract (thanks again all who helped), I called Vodafone yesterday to cancel my contract with them as well.
It started out pretty OK, up to the point I mentioned I am leaving because of their out of plan increases. Suddenly the lady on the phone was much friendlier, telling me all about how they "stopped doing that" and if it changes my mind she can definitely tell me all about the latest deals etc etc.
She then got quite pushy about asking where I plan to go, because "we just want to help" and "If you tell me where you are going I can probably improve on what you'll be getting there". She even had the gall to tell me I sounded "cheesed off" when I asked her to keep it short, I just want my PAC code and don't have a lot of time....

In the end, I got the PAC code.. Good riddance. I just wish I'd had the presence of mind to ask her where it was announced that they're rolling back the out-of-plan increases, because it's the first I'd heard of it!

Just had email off EE saying should get Pac code shortly via text and to let them know how I want any overpayment, cheque or bank transfer. My decision said backdated to 3rd June.

Just out of curiosity how long did people have to wait for Pac code via text once told they'd get it?

Don't know where you get that impression. Following Random Curves new response to their defence we seem to be doing quite well, I got everything I asked for. You need to go to post 1106 and use that and subsequent templates.

This whole thread is around trying to break from contract through a complaint based on the price rise. if you haven't contract EE to try and cancel on either the Price Rise front in April or the Change in T&C's back in January, you'll need to start following the new forum created by RC.

The majority of people have actually won their cases, but there are a few of us who lost (me included) because we got one of the few adjudicators who thought we should have cancelled back following the change in T&C's - we were just unlucky.

For a more structures what to do... rather than reading all the threads have a look on https://www.fightmobileincrease.com RandomCurve started that site with a few others on this forum and it's a little easier to follow rather than reading 1,000's of previous posts, although i do recommend at least skimming through as most defence variations have been detailed in these posts.
  • I recently posted to say that I had won and the adjudicator had agreed to cancel the contract with penalty and backdate.

I have just been reading this thread:

It is the same place I used to take out my iphone contract with T Mobile and looks like their T&C's state that if you end the contract with T Mobile you have to pay for the handset or return it to them:(

Has anybody else used this or a similar intermediary and has experienced the same?

Maybe Random Curve has come across this before when dealing with cancelling of contracts.

    I'm gutted to be honest:(

So got an email from EE today advising my compo cheque was being sent today, my refund for all monies paid since April 24th would be sent via bank transfer in 14 days, and my bill of £99 for this month (I've been using it in Spain) is to be waived!

Only thing is - they've cancelled my account so I can't use my bloody pac code!
    Talk about petty!
I'm £300 and an iPhone 5s up though so I'm not particularly bothered, just seems a childish pathetic move by ee!

On to Three, £10 p/m. No more silly contracts for me! :)

Strange - they have told others on the forum that they can't cancel a contract until the PAC is used!
What a bunch of babies EE are!
I love the use in Spain :)
