Thinking of you, I'm sure it's just a cyst - always better to get it checked up on isn't it rather than leave it.
i agree but as i explained recently when this subject came up (ironically just before my original appt letter came), i found a lump over a year ago, went down was told it was a cyst that just needed draining, soon after found another lump, went drs and was sent back. felt told off my the nurses and made to feel i was time wasting. so ive known i had a small cyst that didnt need anything doing.
I do hope im ' time wasting' again and its just the cyst has now grown enough to drain.
oh well no point fretting till i know either way and appt will be here soon enough.SPC~12 ot 124

That's awful that the nurses made you feel you were time wasting as they should take it seriously - you wouldn't go there just for fun would you. Horrible waiting for an appointment; is there something you can do to keep busy whilst you wait as otherwise I find I sit just counting off the hours but that may well just be me!
Taken DS to school but before hand wiped down the toaster, kettle and did the cupboard fronts, wiped front of WM and DW. Hate to say it but I'm really embarrassed by how mucky it was inside - the DW filter wasn't bad but the inside of the door was grim. Oh well, sprayed it with liquid soap and it's come off OK but won't let it get like that again. Time for sunshine lamp now, have a cuppa and a bit of paid stuff.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Mrs moneypenny, that is awful you are not wasting anybodys time, my mam is a nurse and stories like this really annoy her, the nurses have a duty of care and are paid for their time, I do hope you complained and the best of luck with your next appointment x
No flying yet i am going to read the lists now my home is a mess haha.0 -
Was hoping to get a towels and bedding wash out today but it’s raining/hail and gales again so it’ll be put on hold until tomorrow. Will see how much clothes need washing instead easier to dry inside. Hope it clears up for Thursday as have introductory CBT appointment.
Dancemum – hope that you can get some time for yourself
Lozzy - Glad you managed to have Christmas Day almost to yourself. Mam was taken in on the 24th as the ferries stopped running until the 27th then. Mr TA’s family has a lot in December too so I’ve added to it lol
Ionafan – Glad you had a lovely time in Glasgow and that the plasterer has done a good job and will return
Mumof2 – Are you getting prescribed Iron tablets or just over the counter ones? If things aren’t bettering might be best to go back to docs. Please don’t overdo it. (((hugs)))
Mrsmoneypenny – Will be thinking of you. To be all in your face (even though I’m 35!) Screw work, health comes first. I’m shocked that they didn’t do anything to help before now.
Wendywitch – Glad DD2 is feeling a lot better todaySealed Pot Challenge 6 - 20580 -
tarotangel, im sure i will be fine, if i was really bothered by anything i could have gone back to my gp. the first lump was one id found that came up literally overnight, i got my appt quickly and it was drained. i suppose after that i panicked and became more aware of things. so as soon as i found another lump i went straight back. the nurses were very busy and it came across to me that they were being short tempered, they said it was just another small cyst that didnt need draining and while realising that was there i should note any other changes.
i didnt go back until because of my age i got a routine check appt, this call back will hopefully be just because of the cyst that ive always known is there.
not got too long to wait appt is tomorrow afternoon.
you are all really kind to be concerned for me, i am worried but been here before.
ive hung all the respun washing back out and am now going to tackle the ironing a HHi should clear it all
anyone want to join me for one?SPC~12 ot 124

Morning all.
Hugs to everyone, especially those with appointments or BDs.
I'm shattered today. I went to work (literally 30min!), came home and made my bed up with clean bedding then got DD to go through all her toiletries & make-up with me  For a 12 year old she has a lotThen we tackled the stuff in the bathroom as there's things I don't use, but I wasn't sure if she used them. Lots of flinging done
I taught her how to wash her make-up brushes as she's experimenting and 'contaminating' light stuff with darker shades. She only has tiny travel brushes or the sponges which come in the eye-shadows so a set of larger travel ones will be in her stocking this year
She managed to spray me with perfume at one point which I can still smell now despite having a wash and it stinks
Once she was in bed, I put some catch-up TV on and promptly fell asleep on the sofa. I woke up a few times but was so tired I went back to sleep. Finally at 3.45am I dragged myself upstairs to bed so today I am aching all over. I was going to go Christmas shopping but I am still really tired so I'm going to update finances, tackle the list in stages and try to sort out a proper "this shop for this" type list ready to hit the shops with DD on Monday. She has an INSET day and has been warned we are getting all the Christmas shopping done save a few bits which need to be bought closer to the time. She hates shopping, I hate shopping at weekends and even more so in the run up to Christmas as its so busy so an INSET day when she has a bus pass that valid and I'll have one as well, is perfect
Personal WEEK:
Work out how many sets of lights I need for Christmas & which ones I want - can't decide between coloured or white LED ones for around the room. Also can't decide how to tackle the lights for the tree this year. I need about 500 bulbs if not more, may require a trip to Christmas departments in town
Shredding
Make a start on fleece blinds/curtains
Find net wire/hook & eyes
Demould: Livingroom, Bathroom, hall
Put old bed outside Need DD to help me fold/tie up old mattress. She just needs to sit on it as the mattress is wrecked anyway :rotfl:
Clear yarden
Pay CC when bills arrive
Update finances

- Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
- 30 minutes ironing.
- Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
- Hike through the freezer and make a list of what you have, especially as Christmas is getting closer and you will need the space for all those lovely goodies
Get in a manky cupboard. Give it all GOOD scrub out before placing the things you need to use soon at the front, throw out everything you don’t want/need. If no messy cupboard do a food inventory!! Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!!
Personal Tue:
Dailies
Laundry: dark, light, towels
Ironing (while the pile is small)
I think I'm going to go explore DDs wardrobe for any clothes with grease marks on them and get them washed with some washing up liquid, then they can go in with the appropriate wash loads. Then I'll tackle the shredding pile. Doing that will clear 2 hot spots, can be done while the WM does it thing and I have a coffee:wave:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Benign vibes for Mrs MP.
Portuguese Lodger decluttered along with two rounds of roast beef sandwiches for the journey back to his beloved sons and wife He hates being away from them and it's lovely knowing such a wonderful father.
It's finally, finally stopped raining and the forecast is for five clear days. The WM is going to be going fairly constantly while I catch up on the piles of laundry.
The kitchen floor badly needs another wash so I'm glad it's on today's list. Mrs Dog pulled the bin over again while I was in the bath on Saturday afternoon and I just swept all the crud up. There'll be no pattern on the lino of I keep washing it. She had the beef bone last night so it really needs it now. And I'll do the oven floor again. We're getting there.Better is good enough.0 -
ironing is all done - only about 9 items
washing on line and whirly gently blowing now its spun rather than jut hanging there dripping.
all post now sorted and ready to go - just need to buy some more stamps
going to do an hour in the kitchen before workSPC~12 ot 124

hello
I think I need to recommit to this, I use to do this years ago... I think it was about 4 or so, we moved in June managed to strip everywhere (can you say 7 layers of wallpaper in one of the rooms ) anyway long story short, with kids off for the hols, training to run the GNR etc etc, the house is at a stalemate... we have only *nearly* finished one room and it's the bathroom just got to get accessories.
But the house is in utter CHAOS (I can't remember who it was on here that use to say this but I still use this to mean can't have anyone over syndrome)
So off to grab Tuesdays list and will post what I get done, I'll also add a *my* list to this!0 -
I'm in again despite my late arrival! Thanks for the lists ladies. As usual I'm not very good at regularly posting but I do try to read every few days and I do attempt to follow the lists.
Yesterday I tidied some stuff in the bedrooms and put away dry laundry. I also made some admin phone calls and started preparing for a party we are having on the weekend. Lots to do but it will be worth it.
Tonight I will go for a run after work, do some flying, and some baking for the party.0
