:rotfl:tarotangel wrote: »Lozzy - Your DS1 shares same birthday as me 26th Dec. Did he allow you to have Christmas dinner?
haha i meant ds2 but he was due on the 24th and i am always late so we had chrimbo lunch about 2pm i then cleaned dishes, the kitchen and found homes for most of our new toys/gifts went to the toilet about 5.30pm thinking this is the most chilled out christmas i have had in ages, and my waters broke!
I rang the ward and they told me to come in to make sure it was my waters and to monitor the babies heart beat was sent home and was told i was having mild contractions, got a good night sleep and managed to wait till 1pm on boxing day when i thought i cant wait any longer.
We got the kids in the car dropped them off and my sisters and turned up on the ward to be told there was no beds..... It was 2.30pm before i was "checked" because i looked alright haha and i was 8cm so they all ran around like headless chickens sorting out a labour room and gas and air haha and at 3.06pm he popped out.
I have lovely labours haha but in short yes i had Christmas lunch OH cooked though lol I am on the 29th of dec and i feel a bit guilty because after those few days you have nothing more to look forward to.0 -

i need to do a food shop this week or next week.
i have brought some shake and vac for the carpets. and disinfectant and more air freshener. so can get on with my cleaning spree now i hope... just need to get hold of some more fabric refresher to spray all the curtains down as probably won't have chance to wash them before baby arrives and i can't ask DP to get them down at the moment with him not being well ... will see how he feels in a few days and if hes feeling better will ask him to take them down so i can wash them if not they will just have to be steamed and sprayed

Back from our brief "summer" holiday - we did get a full day of glorious sunshine in Glasgow
- lovely city, lovely people
I have just about managed to keep up with the thread whilst away. Gentle (((hugs))) and healing vibes to those flyladies who have horse piddle appointments this week, for themselves or other family members, or are coping with BDs. New and expectant flymums, please stop panicking about visitors - they'll only have eyes for your baby, not your house.
Our plasterer has finished everything upstairs :T except for a very small patch in the bathroom which I told him to ignore because of the beds and mattresses that we had to store in there temporarily. He will be back later this week (especially if I tempt him with more cake :rotfl:). The plaster is drying out nicely and we should be able to start painting tomorrow :j but at least we have no more plaster dust to contend with in the main part of the house, and I am going to save money by using textured paint to cover the patches in the utility :money: when we finally get round to sorting that (probably not until 2014, because DH's garage needs sorting first).
Off to SW this morning- I might even have time to undercoat the back bedroom cupboard doors before we go out  A bit of furniture moving around lunchtime, then someone is coming to measure up for a blind and someone else is giving us a quote for doing the back fence.

need to check todays list i havent looked what room it is yet.tarotangel wrote: »MrsMoneypenny –Anything planned for day off?
to be honest i think i'd sooner be at work, i went for a mammogram recently and ive had a letter saying they need to see me regarding that. The appt clashes directly with my work times so had to get the day off - it is frowned upon to take days off when you work in a school but really had no choice. would sooner it was for something less worrying.
Hopefully its a cyst that can just be drainedSPC~12 ot 124

Thinking of you, I'm sure it's just a cyst - always better to get it checked up on isn't it rather than leave it.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
DD2 definitely wasn't faking yesterday, while I was out she loaded the DW, put away her and DD1's drumming uniforms. She was fast asleep in bed when I got home and didn't wake 'til gone lunch and was back in bed about quarter to 9 last night. Most unlike her.
She was easy to wake this morning and trotted off to school quite happily.
I have weightwatchers this morning so I'll only be flitting about til then.
WM just finished (will be hung on the airer in 2 minutes, I hate the winter / rain) and DW on, coffee being drunk.
