    Evening All :)

I hope you are feeling better soon Jo.
I am feeling a bit 'Blah' today, I think I am just unsure about what the future holds. I could moan on about it, but I wont bother. I just need to sit down and work out what I need and want to do.

    Morning all,

I'm still feeling pretty rough. Going to get a docs appointment for my little boy today as he's had a rash for a few days that isn't going away.

WTBSE- sorry that you're feeling blah. If it makes you feel any better, you can tell us about it?

Once husband gets paid today, we should be able to add another £100-£200 into the savings. I get paid on Friday too so fingers crossed I can inch closer to my £2k mini-target!
    CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

July debt total: £24,630.44 | New debt total: £18,316.34 | Total debt paid: £6,414.10 (26%)

    Hi :)

Jo- how are you and your little boy doing? Has he been to the docs yet? I hope you are both better soon.

I am still feeling blah. I know that its because there are so many uncertainties about the future.

    In short:

-Work stuff is a bit up and down. I said yes to this opportunity (the added admin work) without thinking it through. It's only £100 a month extra, but the workload will be a lot more. I said yes purely because its not a difficult job. Basically the Agency Boss is thinking of closing the agency down and concentrating on her other businesses which are not in the UK. If this happens I am worried for myself (obviously). She did say that if she closed it down, I could have the details of all the clients on her waiting list (there are 5 on the waiting list). This would be the best thing for me really, as I could be more in control of my timetable.
But I am worried that if I email her and say "sorry, I didn't think it through and on reflection I don't want to do it" that she'll be cross with me and withdraw the offer of giving me the waiting list clients.

But I guess that I have to do it.

    Advice/thoughts/opinions?

EDIT- I have emailed her, and told her that I cannot take on the admin role and didn't give it enough thought before offering. I just hope she isn't !!!!!! off with me...we'll soon see.

I think you did the right thing telling her you can't do it. It's better to tell her now than it would be to start doing the extra work and stress out about it. At least this way she has the chance to find someone else to do it. (((Hugs))) :)

Thanks Tatty. I feel bad for letting her down, but sometimes you just have to think about yourself, you know?

You're so right, I'm sure your boss will understand. You have to think of yourself and your family.

I bet you feel better now that you've sent the email and got it off your chest. Have you heard anything back yet?

Hopefully it won't affect you getting the details of the waiting list clients. That would be excellent to be able to add them to your own portfolio of private clients and manage your own workload.

My little boy is doing much better thanks! I couldn't get an appointment for him yesterday and when I checked him last night his rash was almost gone and he was back to his normal cheeky self.

He comes out in all little rash on his legs usually when he's got another tooth coming through so I thought it might be a bigger reaction because he's got four pre-molars and one other front tooth coming through at the same time, poor soul.

How is everyone's Wednesday? I'm certainly feeling a bit better than I have earlier in the week. About to go for a shower and see if that makes me feel any better.

I've had a :( couple of days for no apparent reason-unless it was the late night I had the night before last...
Feeling marginally better today. Got to help Mr tc for a couple of hours, then I'm going to have a relaxing bath and get on with my jobs. :) that's the plan. :D

Tats rubbish TattyCath- have you not been feeling great or just a bit down in the dumps?

Either way, I hope you feel better soon.

Hope you enjoy a relaxing bath!! I miss having a relaxing bath- glass of wine, book, aromatherapy oils, candle...bliss!

    Confession time:

Over the last 2 days I have managed to spend almost £80 on Sweet FA! I bought us a burger king yesterday, and 2 books for my youngest son...but that's about it :( I am blaming it on the stress I was under :( Arrgghh!!

I have written a list of the things I need to sort out and am trying to sift through them all 1 by 1 so that I feel less stressed. I was lying in bed last night worrying about it all and was getting palpitations :( Not nice, and not good for me either.

So, I have ticked 1 thing off my list (I spoke to a friend about something difficult) and ticked another thing off today (emailed the Agency again).

Re the agency- she was fine about it (so far!) and just asked why. I emailed her back todqy just explaining that I don't really want the commitment and that I feel she needs someone a bit more committed to take on the role. I hope she doesn't decide not to give me any more hours! We'll soon see.

I feel better having done those 2 things.

Only a few more things to tick off the list, but 2 of those rely on what happens in regards to work. I must be patient.

Anyone want to give me a kick up the bum? Form an orderly queue please ;)
