Yay WantToBeSEThat's the first item on your list of goals crossed off then
Maybe you should post your list with that item crossed off? ... Always gives one a sense of achievement to cross an item off the list.

Totally agree with this. I love having to do lists that have things ticked off. Gives me a real sense of achievement.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Congratulations WTBSE!!
That's one item with a nice big tick against it! The car looks great- I bet you're so pleased
And I feel your pain about seeing your savings dwindle but at least you're not starting again from £0! It'll build back up in no time at all!
Your trip to the beach sounds lovely too- your boys will love that I'm sure.
I've not got a lot to report really- still awaiting that much anticipated pay day on 28th and until then not a bean will be added to the savings.
£3 has been added to the £ tin in the last couple of days though.CC1: £4481.14/ £5031.14 (12% paid off, £600) | CC2:£3307/ £3807 (14.4% paid off, £550) | Loan: £10,528.20/ £15,792.30((33% paid off, £5,264))

Thanks everyone
I have just been for a quick pootle to Tesco to get Pizza for dinner. Pizza was half price (£1.50 each).
My sister is moving in with her boyfriend so has also given me the contents of her alcohol cupboard (orange liquor and about 6 cans of Heineken) so will have a little drink tonight to celebrate.
Have updated my signature. £422 now0 -

Sounds good, perhaps wouldn't overdo it on the orange liquor/Heineken combo?could be a bit lethal taken together. :rotfl:well deserved celebration though

Never had any seagulls make an attempt on my fish and chips - I had a bottle of orange juice nicked at the beach once many years ago but don't think the culprit was a seagull :rotfl:Though I did once see a seagull make off with an entire ramekin full of jam, which it managed to pick up with its beak, but that just seemed like an achievement really, I nearly gave it a loud cheer.
I'd love some fish and chips right now too! It must be getting towards summer already (ha ha).
'Seagull here are awful for pinching food- too many numpties muct be feeding them.
I eat my fish ad chips indoors away from them, th wind, the sand, everything. Even if that means it he car (but I prefer a table lol)0 -

Windy days are definitely no good for fish and chips. It doesn't need to be too hot but it does need to be sunny (I think). Today would again have been an excellent day for them.0
