I suppose it does so it probably will. 'Sigh"

When I started my pursuit of compensation with Thomas Cook I had no children.
Unbelievably by the time I get this to Court I reckon my second son will have been born in September! Nearly 2 years later.
Lol, point this out to judge :)

I note that Coby Benson and Kevin Clarke from Botts plan to decamp to the rather splendid George pub opposite the Royal Courts after the judgement, and are offering advice on a surgery basis. Will they buy me a pint?

[EDIT: Oh 111KAB beat me to it - but he doesn't address my pint point pitch.]

    All kicks off Thursday/Friday!
All the best to Huzar & Bott n Co.
Give Jet2 and Les Oiseux2 what for...

For anyone who is following this case ( Jet2 v Huzar) here is a bit of an update.

The case will be heard this coming Thursday(22nd) or Friday(23rd) but it will not be known exactly when until probably tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday). I’ll post an update when I know.

The decision of the court will, more than likely, be reserved although I’m hoping beyond hope for a result on the day.

Whatever the outcome the Huzar/Bott team will be will be winding down a busy, and hopefully successful, day at http://www.georgeinthestrand.com/ which I believe is opposite the RCJ, where a glass of something cool may pass our lips. Everyone is welcome to join us for a chat.

    Invitation from Bott & Co

Thanks to all for the good luck wishes and I hope to meet some of you on the day.

    Good luck, Tyzap!

I salute your tenacity in facing down this large corporation and insisting that they respect your legal rights. As Immanuel Kant once wrote:
Act as if the maxim of thy action were to become by thy will a universal law of nature. So act that your principle of action might safely be made a law for the whole world.

I am confident that you are in excellent legal hands, but I am sure you know too that you have all the support of the community on this forum for the battle ahead.

    Go get 'em.

Good luck from me Tyzap, and of course to our friends Coby & Kevin,
Here's hoping that the result we all crave is edging nearer....
...and that pint is the best you've ever had.
Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.

Good luck from me too Tyzap. Without the effort put in before HHJ Platts by you and your legal team I would have been unable to prevent an appeal by Jet2 against my successful claim. I sincerely hope that you have the same feeling of elation that I had when I left the court - there is no doubt that you deserve it.

There are apparently no cases listed at the Court of Appeal tomorrow, according to this: https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/court-lists/list-appeal-civil.

Is this a glitch or are we on for Friday?

I hope its not Friday as I've heard you can make it and I've spent all my compo so cannot afford the beers you are likely to want.
