What do you mean by spec applications?0

60 letters sent when on the WP in the last few weeks and no replies at all, where as when I email specs I get at least 50% reply rate. We’ve had to remove your signature. So speculative then. Ok, not sure why these would need to be sent as a hard copy.0 -

JSA is what it says on the tin. Open then tin and you'll find stuff inside you'd expect to find like:- be able and available for work
- be actively seeking work
- go to a JSA interview
- JSA interview
- take steps to find work - eg improving your skills
- improve your chances of getting a job - eg get help on writing a CV, preparing for interviews, looking for work
....This is called a ‘Jobseeker’s Agreement’.
Your JSA may be stopped if you don’t follow your agreement and can’t give a good reason.
Do you disagree with any of these facts?0 -

No email address.
Some employers ask for jobs applications (cv, cover note, downloaded forms maybe) to be sent by post too. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Spec CV's/Letters are not job applications though and if you can find the HO postal address you can find an email address IMO.
I've trawled through yell.com looking for company's or other potential employers to send spec letters to and there are quite a few who don't have email addresses - - - actually0
