yep, which is why after the millionth set of sums I decided to be sensible and close or at least empty my ISA (3000 sob) and use that to buy the car. If I can find the book for it.... and just borrow the money for the insurance.
January will be Tighty McTighters because despite saving for Christmas I still over spent by about 200 quid so borrowing is even more is nuts and something I PROMISED myself I would never ever do. That is why I have been so hesitant to phone the cc company.
It is true that taking out the money now will undo my mortgage friendly attempts with the isa (it was a special consideration if you pay in for six months and we might give you a mortgage thing) but they won't consider me with any kind of debt so I just have to start again. And I can do that.

And this afternoon was as predicted. I love them very much and their kids are marvellous and not annoying or difficult, but the pressure of being the only one who shows up alone and can't join many of the conversations is a bit much. I have a stinking headache now!
Just remind me next year, I must do things differently.
Love this place and my friends here XXXX

Hi Hon
Iknow it can be very hard to feel like the odd one out - especially when you are going though a hard time. Good on you for giving it a go.
I hope you enjoyed the cocktails. I've hardly had a drink since the start of the year! Although I dont envy the hangover you'll have if you're drinking for all of us too!
