have now read that thread:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:what awful ladies we all are:rotfl:and to make it worse I did buy some stuff today........a "lucky" bag for £15 with some items that are useful but others not so good however the value was good and I will use the mini nail strengthener, elemis hand wash and cream in a spicy Christmassy fragrance, the other items were a wash off fake tan(already have 2 from beauty boxes)spray tan for legs(not for me as usually am either tanned or covered up in winter!) sachet of scrub and pair of exfoliating gloves.
also got two cute lip glosses in the shape of pigs with crowns!!they are pressies.

did not do that well at coffee morning and didn't sell any jewellery and only 2 flower arrangements(only made 4 so okay with that)did take a few orders for Christmas tho but won't give up the day job yet(whole other tale there tho)so fingers crossed I sell at the craft fair on Saturday(just jewellery this time)
  • Ive been busy a using, don't think I'd buy any of these again but don't think I brought them in the first place either.

    UU Lush Angel Cake soap
    UU Strawberry bath fizzer
    UU Blackcurrant bath fizzer
    UU Citrus bath fizzer
UU Elemis Exotic Island Flower Bath Oil

Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • I've just been catching up on the last couple of days! What a nasty thing to do. It's ridiculous to judge people that way, part of the reason I joined was to find out other ways to use products that haven't worked for me, that's promoting frugal living no?

Personally I think you're all lovely people, always ready to help, and there's nothing wrong with that! I actually just wrote out a huge post to justify why I buy these things, but have deleted it again. At the end of the day, i know my reasons, and as long as I don't put myself into debt buying these things, that's enough for me!

Love the sound of the piggy lip glosses.

Do you remember the name of the Jessica nail stuff you tried that had a rough finish? I have two nails that will grow with the help of Nail Envy, but the tips stay weak and I need something really tough to use on them while the nail grows out and wondered about trying it, but cannot remember what it is called:(

Not wishing to be an enabler, but Nail Polish Direct have a sale on OPI polishes, mostly £6.95, some old favourites, but newer ones like Berlin there done that, just in case you NEED to replace any. LOL
(36 pages of polish and treatments)

  • My, this thread has moved along at a rapid rate the last couple of days.... I wonder why! :D I went to respond on her blog this morning but like others thought why should we have to justify ourselves! I remember that Ilona has posted on the thread in the past, which is how some of us came to reading her blog so a little bit of back stabbing there I would say....

Anyhow, wicked women that I am I have SEVEN naughty IN today :rotfl: My Balance Me box arrived, I love it and I am wholeheartedly unrepentant.... It was a lovely half surprise to come home to after a long day at work and a treat to open. It was very MSE really in actual fact as it goes if you work out the cost of the products individually and given that there's a £10 voucher too. Its rare I do pay full price for anything beauty related with offers, money off codes etc to be honest :money: I think most of us are the same in the that respect and share the latest offers, magazine freebies etc - plus we swap or GA what doesn't suit us.

Bit strange as ordered the Glamour box first and it hasn't shown up yet, mind you this one came from You Beauty rather than LIB if that makes any odds, will hopefully show up tomorrow.

Without this thread I'd be mindlessly buying more and more, if only for the reason that I didn't know what I had before and I didn't stop to think.... I guess I'm just a born hoarder, OH goes mad at me as I won't throw boxes away for things, hairdryers, straighteners and the like and he can't understand why :o My answer, JUST IN CASE!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • I had a look at the Body Shop website the other day, and the cookies mean I keep getting adverts for all their products! Some of them are just right up my alley! I don't live too far from a Body Shop outlet store (15 miles), and can feel myself planning a little trip up there soon to stock up on Christmas presents. Probably all for me.
  • Another project pan bites the dust

Botanics 3 minute mask - WNBA it made my hair soft but had the texture of slime, the fragrance probably wasnt helped by the fact it had been stashed for ages either!
    No more buying toiletries
  • I have a whopping 22 outs today.

1 UU amondopondo bubble bar. Was nice enough but I coudn't tell what it was supposed to smell like or do so probably wnba.

TA: 5 sun lotions. I'm very fair so have to be careful with sun lotion and these have all been open for over a year. I'm not going away for several months yet so ta.

GA: 16 sachets. I'm not listing them all here as I've bundled them up for friends. They're all duplicates of things I already have/wouldn't use/are more suitable for my friends than me. Hope they like them.
